Julia kept scratching and mauling Ranma, who in turn was trying to keep her hands away from him as well as knock her off of him. It just wouldn't work, Julia was a lot more powerful and skilled than him. Had this been post-Saffron, he more than likely would have been able to keep her from scratching him up, as it was, he was only able to keep her from scratching his eyes out.
Mumsey saw Britanny try and get Julia off of the jerk who knocked her up. While Mumsey was still angry at the jerk, she couldn't stand to see her family sad at all. Sighing, she got up and picked up Julia, who still kept trying to get at Ranma. "Calm down Julia, killing the bum isn't going to solve anything."
Britanny was leaning over Ranma to see if he was alright. She was surprised to see him curled in a fetal position and shaking. "Ranma, what's wrong."
Now, while becoming a werecheetah removed Ranma's fear of cats from his conscious, he still had the nightmares of the Neko-ken training in his sub-conscious. Julia trying to maul him was just like going through that again. Right now he was shaking like a leaf, and was trying not to move, in case she decided he wasn't punished enough and tried to hurt him. He flinched when Britanny hugged him, he returned it and started sobbing into her shoulder.
This was surprising to everyone watching, Theo knew that Ranma had a lot of confidence, and to be crying like this, there had to be something behind it. Gina and Mumsey wondered what the hell happened. Julia attacking anyone would be scary, but this was a bit extreme. Julia, well she felt like the world's biggest heel. Ranma didn't look like he was trying to steal Britanny away from her at this moment, instead he looked like a puppy, one that was starving, and you just kicked with a steel-toed boot. While hugging him, Britanny had to wonder why the hell he was shaking so badly. "N-no m-more N-neko-ken training pops. It hurts."
"What's Neko-ken?" Ranma just looked her in the eyes.
"You don't want to know." He finally stopped shaking. And let go of Britanny, he got up and looked at Julia. Bowing his head, "I'm sorry about all of this, this all my fault. If I hadn't fallen in that spring your daughter wouldn't be pregnant and you wouldn't have a curse. I'll try to make it up to you in anyway possible."
Julia looked at him and couldn't find herself to be angry at him, this wasn't his fault at all. "Look Ranma, I'm not mad anymore, it's just that with Britanny getting pregnant and getting a curse was quite stressful. Just a question, who's the idiot that taught you the Neko-ken?"
Ranma looked at her smiling a little now that she wasn't angry. "My good for nothing father."
"Then how come you're not freaking out?"
"Dear, just what is this Neko-ken?"
Julia sighed, one of the bad things about knowing a lot of martial arts, was knowing too much. "The Neko-ken, or Cat-fist as it is called, is a pretty much unbeatable technique in combat. When a person uses the Neko-ken, there abilities are on par with a werecat, however it can be defeated easily, a ball of yard, cat-nip or someone the user trusts can 'defeat' this move. However it's been outlawed for well over 50 years because of the training."
Mumsey raised an eyebrow, "And what's the training?"
Ranma spoke up, "Dig a pit deep enough so that the trainee can't jump out, put 50 to 100 cats in the pit and starve for three to five days. Then wrap the victem in fish-sausage or other fish products and throw into the pit, continue as necessary until the trainee either dies or goes insane. I'm one of the 'lucky' ones, I only went insane. I snapped out of it when a kind old lady found me."
Britanny started to tear up and hugged her lover, which he returned, and started sobbing into his shoulder, trying and failing to imagine what that was like. Gina was quite green and pale from hearing that, and Theo wanted to throw up as well as find Ranma's father and vaporize him. Mumsey was in shock, he survived that kind of training? Julia couldn't believe that someone was stupid enough to teach that move to a kid.
"As for your question Mrs. Diggers, I guess becoming a werecheetah removed my fear, at least from my active mind. Though, I'll probably still have nightmares about the experience all my life."
"Now remeber Penny it can't be permanent or dangerous. Brit will kill both of us."
"Don't worry Gina, it'll just be extremely embarassing."
"It's Genma's"
"And Soun's"
"Operation find the betrothed."
