"Oh, here we go," said the wizard as a book floated off a shelf to hang suspended in air before him. The book flipped open and pages turned by themselves to the appropriate page even as a pencil and notepad operated themselves. "Hmmm. I might even make a profit on this. I've heard of some overly violent and dense martial artists in the area, if I cured the Jusenkyo curse or turned those fighters into newts or something that might work out."

Ranma began to sweat nervously.

To cure a Jusenkyo curse.

1 fang from a wandering pig
2 mushrooms from the Forest Of Dreams
1 footstep from a cat
3 grains of sand from the Oasis Of The Lost in the Desert Of Loneliness
1 tear of a innocent maiden
4 hairs from a goddess, knotted three times
1 feather from the wing of a phoenix
and the breath of five elements.
Serves six.

"Where the hell am I gonna find this stuff?" Ranma asked as he looked over the list.

"Admittedly, in this day and age an innocent maiden is going to be difficult. That's part of the problem," admitted the wizard. "Curses are easy to get, very difficult to remove. That's why you usually have to go on a quest or something to get rid of them."

"Where's the 'Forest Of Dreams'?" Ranma asked, hoping for a little more direction.

"Can't tell you," said the wizard. "Part of being a quest. Once you find one, you'll start getting clues on the rest. Oh, and as my familiar's awake, I'll introduce you. Say hello to:"
