Standing in the shadows, hiding from the SWAT teams attacking everyone in sight, a man with messy blond hair, a mighty blade on his back, and a single black wing turned to his two companions in the dark ally.
"Sunset in five minutes, are the others in position?" he asked to a man in a red cape, currently polishing a triple barreled shotgun.
The man in the cape slowly nodded and gestured to the rooftops and a nearby manhole cover.
"Good. We already lost one world to a madman with an inflated ego. I will NOT let it happen again." the winged man said while taking his sword and placing tiny jewels in slots on the hilt.
"Good to see that at least you two are serious about this. But I can't help but think that we should be after people who may know where this said madman is instead of playing crowd control again." a red wolf like creature with a small flame on its tail and covered in black ceremonial tattoos said.
"I already told you Red, if we make enough of an impact, then those people will come to us."
"By that time we may be too late to stop this. This is foolish Cloud, and both Vincent and I know it. Why can't you?"
The red caped man turned. "Quiet, we are here, so we do what we can here. End of discussion."
The winged man sighed and turned to the street again. "Sunset in three minutes." he muttered.
