“Alright then... Everything seems in order... You’re getting good at repairing the blackbird.” Growled out the short man in jeans at the two before him.
Kitty Pryde looked up from the panel she was examining. “You think so Mr. Logan?”
A bampf was heard announcing Kurt’s arrival, even as Logan nodded his head in acknowledgement. “Hey you two! Scott’s wondering when you’re going to show up for the Danger...”
Kurt was interrupted as a beam of light appeared out of nowhere engulfing Logan and Kitty. A second later the beam vanished, along with the two X-men.
“... Room.... session?... ACK! It’s going to be one of those days.... PROFFESSER!!!” With another Bampf, Kurt went in search of help.

In another universe....
Finally some time to themselves. After who knew how many cases Yusuke Urameshi was finally taking an uninterrupted date with Keiko.
“Oh lighten up Yusuke.” Keiko smiled at the troubled Spirit Detective.
“EH? Sorry Keiko... I just can’t shake this feeling. A feeling something bad is going to happen.”
“Oh don’t be silly... what could possibly go wrong?” Needless to say, that was the WRONG thing to say... As a big beam of blue light engulfed Yusuke and incidentally Keiko as well.
As Keiko screamed in shock, Urameshi could only say. “Damn...sometimes I hate being right all the time...” And then they were gone.
As this happened in the middle of a crowded mall, a mass panic about alien abductions began. Although the theory that Yusuke had pissed off some alien queen presented by two certain teachers did result in said teachers being thoroughly investigated. So there was a silver lining after all.
--------------------------
“Hmm... okay Rei. Try it now.” Dr. Ritsuko muttered from underneath the entry plug simulator. Inside sat Rei Ayanami, testing the new improvements in the system.
“Of course Dr. Akagi....” As Rei prepared to activate the system alarms rang across the NERV compound. A second later the energy plug tester was bathed in blue light. A second later the alarms quieted as the energy signature the Magi detected vanished, along with Rei and the good doctor.
This didn’t worry Gendo to much... well at least not until he tried to activate the next Rei clone and nothing happened *Rei II still being alive, just displaced... therefore no soul to activate a new Rei clone.*
This of course set of a long series of complicated and intricate events involving a nervous break down, a Banana, a pack of mimes, and a can of ‘squeezie cheese’. The end result somehow being Pen-pen being appointed the head of NERV, the female uniforms being changed to playboy bunny suits, and Asuka losing a bet and became Shinji’s personal slave for a week.

Ranma grumbled. Uncute tomboy... How was he supposed to know that today would be the day that Shampoo would get a new packet of powder? Besides whoever heard of Exhibitionist Dust?
It wasn’t his fault that Ukyo, Hinako, Kasumi, Nabiki, Shampoo, and Akane inhaled it! Nor that the dust made them want to prance around topless or in the nude! Nor was it his fault that P-chan saw all this and went into damn near a coma! Why’d she have to mallet him into LEO anyways!
It was during the upward arc that the furiously blushing girls watch a beam of light engulf Ranma and cause him to vanish. His last words: “WHY MEEEEEEEEEEeeee?”
--------------------------
And so the beams spread across the infinite earths, grabbing more heroes.
Terry Bogard on his way out of a tournament.
Sho Fukamachi and Mizuki, indulging in one of the few quiet moments between Chronos attacks.
Hotaru Tomoe, whose disappearance prompted the stock of Tylenol in that universe to shoot up 20 points thanks to a certain Time guardian.
"Hey I've seen this movie! Quick everyone look for a man behind a curtain!"
"You know Bub...mojo couldn't hold me... what makes you think that you have any chance?" *Snikt*
