However, what caught Archon's attentoon was Ranma's eyes... His eyes held so much experience behind them, a light of hidden intelligence. Eyes that were far too old for the body that held them. His eyes spoke Ranma's life-story for her. She could feel hardship after hardship... All through his eyes.
Ranma was beginning to sweat. "Great." Ranma thought bitterly. "THIS must have been the cause of that feeling I had earlier." After a moment of looking over her, Ranma had to admit, she was rather pretty. She might even have been beautiful to some standards. Even with the fur, and cat-like ears, which sent a small chill up Ranma's spine, Ranma found her to be at least 'cute'.
Britanny noticed the two staring back at one another. She wasn't sure what to think of this. She knew Ranma and rather liked the pig-tailed martial artist. He was like the little brother she never had. Cool and not into tech or nerdy like her sisters. Knowing that he was studying Archon, and that she was stufying Ranma back... Well, it sent a rather frigid chill up Britanny's spine.
A small smile crept up on Stryyp's face. To be honest, he knew he'd be lying if he said he didn't feel anything Jalliele'Brea. However, what he felt was not love. It was respect. She had protected her people as best as she could against the Dynasty, and helped him make it into Aebra. She was even the one who gave him full control over the Artifacts he had. That was why it struck a chord with him, leaving Archon back on Aebra as he did. He wanted the Empress to live happily. She had deserved it.
Deciding to break the silence, Stryyp spoke. "So, Ranma, how've you been? ... And, while you are here, would it be all right for me to ask you for a favor?"
"A favor? What kind?" Ranma asked. He wondered what the Kryn Prince had in mind. He would still have helped out, but Stryyp wasn't one to normally ask for favors, and there had to be a reasoning behind it.
Also finding that rather curious, Britanny raised an eyebrow to that, but said nothing. She trusted her husband with all her being. She knew if Stryyp needed to do something, it was for the best.
Ranma then leaned over to Ranma, "Ranma, I hate to ask, but I am a bit busy spending time with my wife. I know that you know your way around the house pretty well... So would you please do me this favor and show Archon around the house?"
Ranma blinked. "Are you sure you want me to? I don't really know her well enough, and I don't know if It would feel odd for her to be shown around by a stranger."
Smiling, Stryyp said, "well showing her around will help you two get to know each other."
Ranma sighed. "All right, all right. I see where this is going. Don't worry. I'll show her around."
Nodding his head, Stryyp smiled. "Thank you, Ranma."
Turning to Archon, Ranma said, "Well Archon. I'm Ranma Saotome. Stryyp is a bit busy at the moment, and he's asked me to show you around the Diggers home. I hope you don't mind."
Jalliele'Brea blinked her eyes. Was it possible? Ranma was going to show her around!?
Smiling, Jalliele'Brea, the Archon of Aebra looked at Ranma and nodded her head. "I'd love to."
