[Episode 38605] [Episode 38605]Shampoo being the leader checked the door. The lock on it was open, something else she found weird. But dismissing it as just a dose of good luck she opted to enter.
First she paused in front of the door, and looked back at her teammates. The dead body of Konatsu and the limp form of Kodachi would definitely be a hindrance if swimming out became a necessity but since this was the only safe way out, there really was little choice in the matter.
"Be ready for anything." Shampoo advised everyone, who nodded in understanding. And then she slowly pushed the door open.
What the group saw was something short of breathtaking. A gigantic pool roughly the size of a lake, and if looks didn`t lie it was as deep as one too. They entered slowly, but after seeing the coast clear relaxed themselves.
"Hey check it out over there, I wonder where that leads to." Said Ranma as he pointed toward the other side of the lake. And sure enough there was an opening there. That looked like the only place out so they decided to go there. But since there was no clear way to get there except swimming they decided to do just that.
"Pig boy help mallet girl cross, she no good swimmer." ordered shampoo, Akane scowled at being reminded her lack of swimming experience. Ryoga just gulped at the prospect of him, water, and Akane in the same sentence. He, whistling innocently approached Ranma from the back and pushed him in.
With an unceremonious splash he landed into the water. "Hey why`d you do that bacon-breath?" Ranma asked in a suspiciously still male voice. He blinked at the lack of chest growth or size loss and started patting himself. Sure enough he remained male.
He began dancing around in the water singing "Never gonna be a girl again." as the rest of the group sweatdropped at the Saotome boys antics.
Ukyo, who smelled a strong scent from the water looked closely toward it. Beneath the waves where Ranma was still dancing around she could see two big, and I mean BIG pair of eyes looking up. "Ranchan get out of the water now." she screamed suddenly. Ranma wondered why she was so worried all of a sudden. He looked down and saw something moving.
Deciding retreat was imprudent at this point he reached toward the ledge where the others where still standing and began lifting himself up. Ryoga, who was at the edge grabbed his arm and pulled him out quickly. Good thing he did too because one second after Ranma exited the water a big looking lizard came out of the water quickly and bit off the area where Ranma was. Taking with it a little part of the ledge.
The group stared up at the monster. It looked a little like an alligator, except it had what looked like bat wings in the back and a more smaller maw than usual. It roared at them as it got closer and closer.
Ranma saw the chance to exploit his confidence since he would never turn into a girl again and charged up his chi. "Perfect Mouko Takabisha" he screamed as he pointed his hands forward toward the lizards head. When the chi impacted a big explosion occurred.
Everyone shielded their eyes from the attacks brightness. Finally when it died down everyone, especially Ranma stared at the image before them in fear. Except for the obvious lack of its left eye and deep bloody gash there, it was mostly unharmed.
It drew a breath in and let loose with an arc of fire. The martial artists, and Kuno too. Jumped out of the way just as the ground where they were standing on began to bubble. Akane silently cursed to herself as she realized that she had forgotten to take Konatsu`s dead body with her. Well it seemed he had been given a sort of burial here in this place. She looked toward Ukyo and saw she still had Kodachi in her arms.
The dragon moved its head toward were its prey where after eluding its blast, but before it could fire off a second blast it received four chi blasts directly on the head from Ranma again, Shampoo, Ryoga and Akane respectively. When the smoke cleared again the dragon was obviously wounded, but still quite alive.
