Amethyst & Usagi: First Journery [Episode 39137]

by Disruptor

After teleporting to the disturbance, Amethyst looked at the strange creature standing before her. It looked like a woman but had a gumball machine strapped to its back and two hoses leading to the back of its hands. The 'woman' was a bright pink and she was wearing a grey swimsuit.

The girl, if you could call it that pointed the hoses at Amethyst. "Bubbleor! Bubbleor!"

Two 'gumballs' shot towards Amethyst. The princess of Gemworld, casually threw up a barrier and knocked the offending items away. Amethyst finally noticed that several of the people of Gemworld were each encased inside a giant pink bubble.

"What is going on?" Amethyst muttered to herself, as she used her magic to see how the people were doing.

Amethyst glared at Bubbleor, as she stated, "I don't know who you are, but draining the citizens of Gemworld of their energy is not something I can allow."

Bubbleor fired two more gumballs at Amethyst, who just batted them away again.

"I am the soul of Gemworld! I will not allow something like you to hurt my people!" Amethyst said, as the ground suddenly shook.

A crevasse opened underneath Bubbleor and Amethsyt stared down into the depths.

"I am the Gemworld. The Gemworld is me," Amethsyt said, as she held her left hand out to one side.

The Soul of Gemworld closed her fist and the ground snapped shut. Amethyst smiled, as she felt the life force of the creature give out. She looked over and saw the people of Gemworld were released from their bubbles and slowly regaining their energy.

"They'll be all right. I need to find out where that thing came from," Amethyst muttered to herself.

Amthyst cast a spell that allowd her to backtrack the creature to its point of origin. To a normal person, the place where she was at looked like a rocky wasteland. But, Amethsyt was hardly normal anymore. She spotted a swriling vortex of energy that she recognized as a dimensional portal. Looking throught the portal, Amethyst felt a twinge of homesickness and regret.

"Earth," Amethyst whispered to herself, as she bowed her head. "That creature came from Earth. I have two choices. I can seal the portal up and forget about the creature. Or, I could travel to Earth and find out where that thing came from."

Holding out a hand, a piece of amethyst flew into her hand. Holding the gemstone up, the woman who was once Amy Winston formed a pendant that she could wear out of the gem.

"I won't have my full power, while I'm on Earth. But, I should have more than enough to deal with any more of those creatures."

Looking over her shoulder, she frowned. "I see Mordru has escaped. But.... Wait a minute here..... I can see the portal that took him away, but it leads to another Earth?"

Amethyst thought for a moment and put warding spells around both portals. Shaking her head, she looked at the portal she was standing before.

"I guess the Crisis didn't wipe out all the Earths. Still, I should find out what that creature was and stop any more incursions to Gemworld."

That said, the woman held up the gemstone and a purple beam of light shot forth. A swirling vortex of purple energy appeared in front of her. Taking a look behind her, she sighed sadly. As she stepped through the portal, her purple minidress and boots were replaced with a white shirt and blue jeans. The amethyst pendant hung around her neck. Amy Winston now looked like a fifteen year old girl

'Most people will think it's just a phony gem,' Amy Winston thought. 'A six inch by three inch amethyst used as a pendant? I think this is Japan.'

A quick covert spell later, and Amy was easily fluent in Japanese

At the Time Gates, Sailor Pluto felt a change in the timestream. She glanced at the gates and saw that the changes centered around a blonde haired, lavender eyed woman. The woman was weraing a purple mini-dress with orange fringe and an orange belt. She also was wearing purple calf high boots.

"Who in the world is that?" Pluto asked. "She looks like a Sailor Senshi, but I've never seen her before in my life."

The Senshi of Time bit her lower lip in fustration. "I need to know more. If she's from the future, I'll be forced act. If not, I can't leave the Time Gates. I'll just have to hope things turn out for the best."
