When Akane made her wish Ranma was just a few months past his 17th birthday (Having started the series at 16... and gone through a whole school year). Unfortunately dimensional travel is a tricky business, and so in granting Akane's wish a few years were shaved off of Ranma's life.
Thus instead of a 17 year old, it was a 15 year old Ranma currently plummeting to the ground. This did have one advantage though... Although he was still cursed, the de-aging of his body did remove quite a bit of the damage Genma had down to him over the years. Including a decent portion of brain damage that had appeared over the years. Still he was falling fast towards what apparently would be a....
*THUD!*
Errr...sorry what WAS a very hard landing.
Ranma groaned in pain... and groaned again as he felt something poke him. AS he pulled himself up he blinked, as some kid wearing pelts leapt back and growled at him.
"Ugh...hey... who are you?"
The kid growled again and Ranma blinked. Great, just what he needed... wait... maybe if he gave him some food? It worked in that movie once! Reaching into his pocket he grinned. He still had a candy bar! Pulling it out, he gently tossed it to the boy.
The kid walked over and sniffed the bar... A second later he snarfed it down. "Awooooo .....That tasty! Tasty tasty tasty!" The wild boy danced around Ranma.
"Ah..yeah... say what’s your name kid?" Ranma couldn’t help but smile at the little kid’s antics.
"Awoo... Name? Gau's name is Gau! You on Gau's Veldt! Who you?"
"I'm Ranma.... Ranma Saotome... of the Saotome School of Anything goes martial arts!" Ranma smirked. "Hey you think you could take me to your folks?"
Gau frowned and his shoulders sagged. "Gau no have parents... no family... Gau live on Veldt alone... all alone...."
Ranma frowned... even at his worst he had his pop. Although that wasn't saying much... still no one should grow up alone... And considering those odd creatures roaming around nearby, plus Akane's wish, well he doubted he was anywhere near Japan. "Tell ya what Gau... you show me around this place... and umm I'll be your family okay? I can be your big brother...”
Gau stopped and looked up. "Ranma be Gau's brother? Gau have...family? Awwwoooo!!! Gau have big brother! Gau show Ranma Oniisan Gau's place!!!"
With that Gau snagged the young Ranma's arm and dragged him off... off to new adventures in a new world.
"Ah Great...another Kuno!"
"Kuno? Mr. Thou is a Kuno? Mr Kuno! Mr. Kuno!"
"I am not sure if this is an improvement sir Sabin"
Kefka: Hmm such fire...such passion... I will make that Redhead girl MINE OH-HOHOHOHOHO!"
