"Aaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhh!" screamed Ranma as he passed through a cloud. A wet cloud. 'This is it,' he thought, 'Akane has finally killed me. I always thought it would be her cooking that did me in. And I'm gonna die a girl too. This sucks.'
THUNK. OOF!
Ranma slowly came to the realization that he wasn't dead. Unscrewing his eyes he looked down at the light blue scales he was laying against. "I'm alive," he whispered.
"Excuse me. Are you all right?" asked Fuu.
Ranma looked up to behold three young girls on the back of the flying fish with him. It was the one in green who had spoken. "I'm alive," he said with a somewhat maniacal grin "I'M ALIVE! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!"
"I think she's unbalanced," said Fuu.
"Perhaps she psychotic?" replied Umi.
"Maybe the shock was too much for her," concluded Hikaru
The three girls huddled as far from Ranma as they could get until the laughter died down. He scratched nervously at the back of his head, "Sorry about that. I just thought my uncute fiance had wished me to my death."
"Your fiance wished for you to die? How horrible." commented Fuu
"Are you from Japan as well?" asked Hikaru
"Yeah I'm from Japan. An the wish wasn't exactly to die. The actual wish was that I didn't live anywhere on the planet. Next thing I know I'm falling through the air from very high up. I thought I was gonna go splat. Good thing this fish umm thing caught me."
"Yes we arrived in a similar manner. It was very scary. I can't believe your fiance treated you like that. I'd have dropped someone like that a long time ago." said Umi.
"Well, it was our father's idea. I didn't want to get married yet but they were set on uniting the schools."
"An arranged marriage? No wonder you didn't get along. You should marry a person you love." said Fuu.
"It didn't help that they kept trying to force me to marry her. She wasn't too happy about it neither."
"I can't believe that your parents were trying to force you to marry another girl! I want to give them a piece of my mind!" exclaimed Hikaru.
"What? No, I'm a guy dammit."
"You look like a girl to me."
"She looks a little like you actually. You don't suppose she is related?"
"I don't think so."
"Maybe she hit her head as she was falling?"
Ranma tried to set things straight, "Look, I'm really a guy." Unfortunately, at this moment the fish decided to dump them off on a ledge on a mountain.
