Street Walker Ranma: Ties that bind. (DARK) (LIME) [Episode 39326]

by Greyman

There are two basic concepts of magik: Contagion and Similarity.  The priciple of Similarity is the more things resemble each other the more they become the one thing; the map is the land, the model is the object and so forth.  The principal of Contagion is that two things that have been connected remain connected even when apart.  These principles have various applications, including the cult classic voodoo doll.

Spells R' Us costumes used the principle of Similarity to change the wearer's identity to match the costume.  This was simple templating magik; Jusenkyo curses transformed in a similar manner. Pride can do strange things and Ranma decided that if that was all she was good for, she was damn well going to be the best little whore in Japan.  Or, at least, that was what she now remembered deciding and evidence pointed to her having trained herself at it with all of the gusto formerly reserved for learning martial arts.  The magik further ensured that she liked her new life and would not try to go back to what she was.

Of course, that would not stop others from trying and Ranma sighed as she saw one of those others coming down the street.

It was ...
