Ranma sweat-dropped. He met Asrial WAAAAY back during the Time-Warp incident with Peachbody, and last sawher months ago during the Dragon Blade fiasco. " So..why are you lookin' for me Asrial? Did Pop do something to your Empire and use me as collateral?"
Asrial blinked, and thought back. " If so I dunno..have to ask Mom or Dad..anyway I come with news! YOU Ranma Saotome have been selected as the new Representative for Earth!"
" Huh..wha, come again?!"
" Well ya'see Daddy was getting tired of the slow progress with Jeremy, so he selected a new Representative for Earth..and you are the lucky chosen one!"
" Run it by me again why that is so important?" Ranma asked..feeling dread in the back of his mind.
" Well, you see in order to form a strong bond with the Earth, the Salusian Empire chooses an Earthling that will marry into the Royal Family."
Ranma's features paled. "...And that's me isn't it?"
" YEP!"
" Now wait just a minute here!"
Asrial looked over and saw a Female Kryn wearing royal garb approaching them looking none too happy. " And you are?"
" Jalliele'Brea, Archon of Aebra, and I must say your proving all the things I've heard about the Salusian Empire." Archon said with her hands on her hips and a glare to make Julia proud. " I find it a little rude and if not appalling for you to just pop up and say Ranma has to marry you. I thought all the talk about Salusians making insanely stupid arranged marriages with one of the party if not both are unaware until they're dragged to the alter were mere pish-posh...I can see they hold some truth."
Ranma gulped as sparks seemed to fly from their eyes at each other.
