Into their shrine had walked a young boy, a panda, an ancient goblin, a young girl with a key-staff, and two young girls who were not.
"Most ominous," said Cherry.
Shampoo had just discovered she could fly!
She had also repeatedly discovered that while she was able to dart about like a hummingbird, she had a lot more mass and darn little experience flying. Therefore she was slamming nosefirst into a lot of different solid objects.
Genma, for once, had had a good idea.
They were on an Epic Quest. They were trying to save the world. They were fighting supernatural evil.
Therefore: they needed a few kami on their side!
Saturn gasped and looked at Moon. There was a Ring nearby, but they hadn't been able to sense it until they'd gotten closer.
There was also a dark ugly slimy presence nearby. It might be one of the Dark Genie!
Now the sudden appearance of the Ring made sense to Saturn and she shared it with the others. The slimy one was seeking the Ring and the Ring was trying to draw them to it rather than be caught.
So Saturn led the others directly to where the Ring was. Unfortunately-
