Kami-sama or god had decided that the situation was to delicate to leave to amatures, even ones as experienced as sailor pluto. So he had sent a message in the form of a lightning bolt to his three favorite daughters telling them that there was a mortal by the name of Ranma that had recently come into posession of some very powerful and potentially dangerous powers that had to be neutralized before he could do any serious harm to some of the more important players in the cosmic scheme. Unfortunately this had not gone unoticed by the infernal side of the force as well and two or three (depending on who you ask) were on their way to insure that Ranma was corupted and used by their side to bolster their forces and maby even take over the underworld or heavens. (Ranma had two forms after all and Kami-sama could be eiether male or female)
Still both sides had underestimated Ranma and his willingness to be a puppet for eiether side, and with his new sexual knowledge and awakened manly nature he was planing to give both sides a run for their money, and come out on top.
