Meanwhile, Ranma was pausing every time a baby carriage passed to sigh resignedly.
"RANMA!!" a voice shouted. "PREPARE TO...eh?!" Ryouga stopped in mid attack as he ascertained that, while it was Ranma, Ranma now had raven wings...and rather distinctive yellow eyes.
"Ryouga?" Ranma said with an irritated sigh. "I'm not in the mood for a fight right now somebody was ogling me earlier and...oh yeah." She flashed the mirror into Ryouga's eyes, Ryouga blinked for a moment and then shook his head out.
"Oh, right," Ryouga said. "Nice shirt by the way, what happened to the old one?"
"It broke," Ranma said, sighing. "The old man at that Spells R'Us store gave me this to make for the damage."
"I think you came out ahead in the deal," Ryouga said. Ranma was moderately confused her, Ryouga didn't seem to be attacking her...that was odd.
"Well, I have to get home," Ranma said. "I have to give Ukyou her gift later, but first I need to wrap it."
She was looking Ryouga over now, without having to worry about him attacking her for some reason. She was coming to the conclusion that he'd almost be good father material for someone, without the lost thing anyway. She shrugged it off, moderately uncomfortable with the direction her thoughts were taking.
"What did you get her?" Ryouga asked.
"A business suit," Ranma said.
"Men's I guess," Ryouga said, smirking. "If she were to turn into a guy she'd be perfect for you, but as it is I sometimes don't get how you can handle her coming on to you. Or those other girls."
"Uhh..." Ranma said, really frightened now. "I really need to get home now."
"Right," Ryouga said. "See you later." And Ranma politely waved and headed off. Ryouga thumped himself in the head. ~Way to go idiot, remind your best friend she's a lesbian magnet.~ He shook his head and started off before remembering he could have followed Ranma to Akane's place. Then he really cursed himself.
