The idea did have some advantages. She knew that she could train her children to be the best martial artists ever--she'd never be as bad a parent as her father would. And maybe her fiancees would stop chasing after a mother with children.
Or maybe Ranma was just rationalizing it. But even though she was really a guy, and couldn't imagine being with another guy, she *wanted* to give birth. There was only one thing she could do.
Ranma turned around and searched for the Spells 'R' Us store. It was still exactly where he had left it, fortunately for her, or maybe not.
Ranma walked in and the wizard with the bathrobe was waiting for her. "Hello, Ranma" said the wizard. "Since you're a repeat customer, I won't bother reading your mind to find out your name."
"I just... just wanna buy one more thing from your shop." Ranma paced up and down the aisles--the shop seemed much larger than it was when he looked at it. She came to a cabinet which somehow was right near the counter, where the wizard could easily look over her shoulder.
"That's good. There's a special for repeat customers."
"Ya just gotta do one thing. Promise me that it'll do exactly what it says. I don't wanna be tricked by some wizard."
"Oh, I can assure you, anything you buy now will do exactly what it says." The wizard hardly ever mislabeled his devices anyway--wasn't that Tunic of Procreative Impetus clearly marked? "And anything in that cabinet is only 100 yen with a trade-in."
"Really?" said Ranma, looking over the items in the case. "Then I'll take that one. And I'm not sure I need this mirror." She handed the wizard 100 yen and the mirror, and walked out...
