The armor was not all-concealing, and the facial scar was not so horrible as one might have imagined under a facemask. The armor in fact looked like something some Chinese martial arts villain might wear.
Gone was the innocence, the puppydog look, the confusion. Determination and a cold hardness were more evident.
"I am Doom," said Ranma, weighing the words as he spoke them. The leather of his spiked gauntlets creaked slightly as he clenched a fist before him.
"Now, Ranma, don't be hasty," said Nabiki, backing away until she felt her rear bump against a wall.
"Of course not," said Ranma. "First I need a power base. I'll have to relocate, perhaps take over a criminal network."
Nabiki watched Ranma with some alarm. "Taking over a criminal network?"
"Simpler than building one from scratch," said Ranma. "Goodbye Nabiki. I don't think it would be best if our paths crossed again."
Nabiki KNEW that. As a blend of Ranma and Victor Von Doom, this was a person who could hurt her severely without any compunction whatsoever.
