She didn't notice the somewhat cheerful, somewhat hesitant look on Ranma's face. The look of a girl who is going to a friend's house who happened to be (in her memory) a lesbian in love with her.
"Ranma, what happened to you?" Ukyou asked.
"Nothing," Ranma said, confused. "But I got you a great gift, it should help you dealing with those bureaus and such!"
"Uhhh," Ukyou said, noting Ranma's lack of understanding why Ukyou was surprised. "So...uh...what was your day like?"
Ranma gave an exasperated sigh and walked in.
"I'll tell you after you open my gift and try it on," Ranma said. "I wasn't sure on your sizes...so...now's the best time to see if we need to return it."
"Okay," Ukyou said, drawling out the word. "Let's see it."
Ranma presented the boxed suit with a flourish and Ukyou hesitantly opened it. When she looked in she found a flawlessly tailored men's suit.
"Wow," she said. This really would help deal with the various bureaucrats she had to all the time. It would make her look very proffessional. "Let me go try it on."
A little while later a hurried Ukyou came in looking somewhat panicky but also quite dashing in her suit. Ranma had to remind herself that Ukyou was a girl.
"Ranma! Where did you get this suit?" Ukyou demanded.
"Wow," Ranma said. "You even sound like a guy...and you have an...adam's apple?" Ranma, despite the talented and skilled martial artist that she remained even now, fainted.
