Ranma was in hell.
Sure, Ryoga was the one that always said he’s seen hell, but this is different.
Ranma was in hell.
At least as far as he was concerned.
In hell at least you knew what you were in for.
Not now, no, this was hell for him. Everything was a lie. Akane truly did hate boys, Shampoo only wanted him because he was hard to get, and Ukyo.
Ukyo…
She was the only ‘real’ friend growing up. The only friend he ever had on a life to be the best. The one who called off her vengeance because he called her cute once. The one that made food for him that wasn’t poisoned, drugged, or laced with potions. The one who he can be himself around.
And she used him, just like everyone else.
Soun only wanted him to take care of the dojo cuz he was too darn lazy to do it himself.
Pop cared only for his stomach.
Mom threatened to make him commit seppuku if he wasn’t the ‘perfect’ man.
Nabiki was only after his money.
No one, NO ONE! Gave a damn about his life. Only do this, do that marry this girl, laws say you have too, only caring about themselves. Was there anyone, ANYONE that cared at least a little? Was this all a set-up to make his life miserable? Was he just the one that everyone used? Did anyone in the whole ward have a heart to do anything right? Was the whole world against him? Anyone who he would not want to kill? Anyone who was honorable? Anyone who thinks of others before themselves? Anyone who cares about me? No, people don’t care about Ranma, they blame Ranma, its always Ranma’s fault, Ranma did all the fighting to keep people alive, to save lives, it was Ranma who everyone looked towards as the one to save the ward…Ranma, to be used the whole time.
That’s when he felt it, an embrace from behind. Warmth of a body that slowly, ever so slowly eased the pain of the world. Someone who wasn’t out to kill, maim, drag back somewhere, rape, pound, or use in anyway. Whoever it was, radiated kindness and comfort, peace, and tranquility. Someone who cared about others, someone who couldn’t hate anyone. Someone who’s aura was very familiar. The only person who he wouldn’t deck right now.
Kasumi, Kasumi Tendo, the last person in the young man’s life who had a soul, the only person who could really love their enemies, if she had any. She was the one person who he would never cause harm in any way, ever. She was there, comforting HIM when he gave up hope for Nerima. She was there for him now, trying her best to ease the pains in his life. There doing the best she could, for HIM, not for her sake, but for HIS! Kasumi, the only honorable Tendo, the only person who didn’t do a thing against him. How could he forget Kasumi was in Nerima?
He sat there lost in her presence. Lost in a sea of comfort, lost within care of someone who cares. He didn’t know how long it was until he turned to face her. An hour? 3? Who knows? All he knew was that it felt good, good enough that he was worth caring, and that made all the difference in the world.
He stared into her eyes through her eyelids lost in what he couldn’t see. It was then that he heard it, a soft sound that he didn’t pay attention to before.
It was humming, by Kasumi.
Nothing that he could gather, just a simple hum, no words escaped her still together lips.
He never felt this way before. Was this what it was like to be cared about? He turned around fully then, embracing Kasumi in his own hug. The two embraced each other, both glowing in the exceeded warmth. Neither moving away, only embracing each other, and embrace Ranma did, like his life depended on it. It was mid-afternoon, and nothing mattered but Kasumi and Ranma in each others arms, Ranma not crying, even though every fiber of his being wanted him to. He couldn’t cry, he wouldn’t cry, and yet, he needed to cry.
After 10 more minutes, Kasumi finally spoke.
“Are you feeling better now Ranma? Or do you need more time? I don’t want you to miss dinner.”
Silence swept over Ranma for a full minute until he was able to speak.
“I’m better Kasumi, not much, but I can’t go back, thank you for everything.”
He tried to stand up to get away, but Kasumi held him firm.
“What happened Ranma? Do you ant to talk about it? You were gone so long, I thought something bad happened.”
“Kasumi…I..I.. I don’t want you to suffer because of what happened to me.”
“Nonsense, you won’t hurt me by telling me about what’s troubling you. I can’t stand you hurting this much.”
“Well, Kasumi, you see, I…”
Ranma stopped as he was forced to stare into Kasumi’s eyes, pleading to let her help him. After losing that battle, Ranma gave in and very reluctantly told what he heard and what was troubling him.

An hour later, Ranma and Kasumi were able to finish digesting what happened. Kasumi over what has been happening behind he pigtailed youth’s back, and Ranma knowing that Kasumi knew Akane was a lesbian. Key word was. Apparently, Kasumi thought that Akane broke out of it a few months ago over what’s been happening between the two. Now however, Kasumi learned that not only was Akane still a lesbian, but that she was still doing it without telling Ranma. She knew that Akane and Shampoo bedded each other; the evidence was all over the guestroom. However, she surly thought that Akane and Shampoo informed him what was happening.
After all she scolded Akane several times to stop making a mess out of the guestroom. She even told her herself that Ranma would be told that the rivals got along better than they let on. That’s why Kasumi didn’t worry whenever people came over, no one was being attacked. Now however, finding out that Akane was using the engagement to hide her acts and that everyone else was doing the same, really shocked the oldest Tendo sister. Ranma was in state of nothingness before she came, and there was no way that she would let him continue on this alone. Akane was really in trouble now. Akane agreed to stop being improper in her sex life if she would allow the youngest sister to tell Ranma first.
Now Akane did the impossible…getting Kasumi mad. Not just frowning, or disappointed, Akane made Kasumi mad. It was one thing to not interfere until now, since Kasumi thought at least some of that fluid on the futon was female Ranma’s. Now, to not only disobey Kasumi and lie to her, but to treat a guest and a fiancé that terribly and not tell him at all was worse than what Mr. Saotome did by going to Jusenkyo.
Ranma was concerned now, Kasumi was mad. There was anger in her aura! It took Kasumi a good 7 minutes to calm down. Ranma didn’t even think it was possible to get Kasumi this angry.
After calming down, Kasumi apologized.
“Ranma, I am terribly sorry for what my youngest sister has done to you and I do hope you do not harm her physically. Tomorrow, I’ll make it better. Others need to know what has happened to you. And I will see it that you are not harmed anymore while living at our home. I thought things were getting better. I am sorry I did not tell you earlier. I trusted my sister to be a better person than this. I apologize for not doing anything, at times you did seem to love each other. Will you forgive me?”
“Kasumi…thanks. No need to apologize, thank you. You don’t know how much it means to me to find someone who doesn’t want to kill and/or use me.”
“I need to make it up to you Ranma. It’s my responsibility for what goes on inside there. Tell you what; I’ll be back later to take you out to dinner. You must be hungry for not eating all day and I do not want you near Akane for a while. I do not want to bury a sister.”

In the Tendo Dojo Akane was feeling like someone was nuking her grave. Not just standing or dancing, but nuking her grave and that she was sent to hell, and being ripped apart there.
Never the less she felt like she pissed of Kami-sama.
That is why she was on her knees holding her stomach.
Elsewhere a Chinese girl and a chef were feeling the same way.
Pissed of the Kami? Close… oh so close…
