Sif-Chan: Bike Dreams [Episode 40250]

At Whirlwind, Chihiro Fujimi was kneeling next to a bike engine with a wrench in her hand. There was something wrong with it, and she was going to find out what that was. It should have been simple enough, but she couldn't get her mind on to the project at hand.

Leaning back and wiping the back of a hand against her forehead, she gave a low sigh. For a while now, she couldn't figure out exactly why she couldn't focus. She had gotten enough sleep and things hadn't been boring lately, but her mind kept on wandering.

And it wasn't like she was imagining that she had won some important race, or designed a special bike in her daydreams. Instead, she was finding that her mind kept one focusing in on one phrase, and for the life of her, she couldn't figure out why that was.

After all, jumping up to shout, "Jupiter Planet Power, Make UP!" seemed rather... silly. That sounded like something straight out of a magical girl manga, and she was a bit old for that. Besides, she had always been more towards things like bikes and engines, when her classmates had read that sort of stuff. Plus,it wasn't like it was real or anything.

Actually doing it would be a guilty pleasure though. But she would be a bit afraid that someone might find out about it. Still, it was a silly fantasy, and not at all likely to actually come true.

Standing up, she put her wrench back in the tool box, and shook her head. At this rate, she wasn't going to get any work done. Maybe going out for a while would clear her head. A bike ride sounded good about then.
