...Only to find themselves free falling through the air to a city below. Pulling Brittany close to him, Ranma tucks them both into a rolling somersault before touching done lightly upon the empty streets.
Looking around, Ranma noticed that the place they suddenly found themselves in was fairly modern, with the usual skyscrapers and apartments of a major city. Checking the sky, he found that it was probably around midnight, as the night was at its darkest, while the stars shown at their brightest.
Turning his gaze to his new friend Brittany Diggers, Ranma noticed that she had her eyes shut tightly as she snuggled into his chest, his arms holding her gently, having done so as to allow him to comfortably land upon the street without hurting the female werecheetah.
"Hey, Brittany. You can open your eyes now; we're safe."
"Really?" Opening her eyes, Brittany saw twin pools of pitted ocean grey staring into her own with open concern. Breaking their gaze, the youngest Digger preceded to glance around at her surroundings, noting that she recognized none of the buildings in the immediate area, though some of those in the distance seemed familiar, before turning back to give Ranma a look of confusion.
Noting Brittany's questioning gaze, Ranma thought for a few moments before answering. "Yeah, but I'm not exactly sure of where we are, so I think we should start asking around."
Setting his female companion on the ground, they both began to look for someone they could ask together. Spying someone walking with their back to the two, Brittany motioned Ranma to follow, both never realizing they were still in their hybrid forms.
"Excuse me, but could you tell us what city we're in?"
The figure stopped without turning around. "Why?"
"Um..*gulp*..We happen to be wanderers traveling abroad, but we...my boyfriend-*whispering*just follow along Ranma*whispering*-and I got lost and need to know where we are so we can find our way back to our planned route. Can you please help us?" Smiling shyly, Brittany patiently waited for the person to reply.
"Yes. You happen to be in.....
