Seeing Ranma turn into the petite redhead of their dreams the girls made their first major mistake (concerning their plan), they stopped paying attention to their surroundings. Instead their eyes were focused on Ranma-chan as Akane finished removing the girls shirt where upon she began to the redheads bussom. Now if they could have spared some of their attention for their surroundings then this wouldn't have happened, but alas it did.
Unseen a figure had snuck into the alleyway while Shampoo was holding Ranma against the wall and, hiding within the shadows that same figure watched the girls gang up on their intended victim. At this point the concealed individual acted.
The girls weren't aware of any of this however so when Akane leaned into Ranma-chans shoulder they didn't immediately react, only when they noticed that Akane's arms were limp and she was slowly falling to the ground while leaning on Ranma-chan did they surmise that something was wrong.
But it was already too late as Shampoo and Ukyou succumbed to the same sleeping agent that had just moment ago taken out Akane before their eyes.
