The decision of the Jusenkyo's guide to lead his two guests to the Nyuchezuu village after their unfortunate dive into the cursed springs hadn't been the wisest thing he'd ever done, that's for sure. But at the time, the man probably couldn't guess that his 'honored customers' would be obnoxious enough to eat the prize for the warrior women's champion tournament.
Even without this foreknowledge, however, plenty of other destinations were possible. So, on the Saotomes' insistence of finding a cure or a way to deal with the curses, the guide may had come upon a few suggestions. What if, instead of the Joketsuzoku, they had headed toward:
