Kosh turned to leave Sheridan stunned and alone with his thoughts.
'He's learning now.' was one of Kosh's primary thoughts while he moved back to his quarters. While rebellious and obstinate, Sheridan showed great promise as the One who was destined to join the younger races against the Shadows, and strangely for a Vorlon, he felt a certain respect for the Human race. While they were chaotic and unruly in their actions, they possesed a thirst for knowledge, a burning desire for uncover the unknown that was unrivalled upon the younger races, and if they could curb a bit their maniac custom of talk all the time, they would be an ideal race to be teached for the Vorlons...'Hmm...teach Sheridan will be interesting.'thought Kosh while he moved toward his quarters.
Suddenly something tugged his senses deeply.'What is that sensation?' thought the Vorlon while he changed his direction to where was located the source of the feeling.
Kosh never had seen before this type of emanation. To him wasn't psionic energy, of that he was sure and definitively wasn't of Shadow origin. if he could say the most aproximated definition of the sensation, it was Life in its most pure form..something what intrigated him deeply.
Finaly he found the source in the station's Arrivals zone. to his eyes was a group of six EF soldiers, StarFury pilots to be precise. almost all of them were simply humans, but the last of the group, a mere baby to Vorlon's age standards, of black hair and blue eyes was attracting the attention of Kosh.'what is the energy what flows out of him?..... i must know more....' with that in mind he beguns to probe his mind.
Ranma was marveled with Babylon 5, his first assignation after graduating of the EarthForce Academy. While he was lagging a bit in the first months of the instruction due to his lack of education, he corrected that with a obsesive dedication to study all the courses. in the other hand the training to pilot a StarFury was a breeze in the park, and due to his reflexes and dedication, after one month of the course was already piloting a StarFury with ease to the shock of all his instructors and comrades in the Academy, and his ability to pull downright insane and almost impossible maneuvers due to his tolerance to extreme G-forces as result of his life in Nerima got him to be called Maverick for his companions. At the end of the course he graduated with honors in the Academy and along with a group of pilots was sent to Babylon 5 inside the Agamemnon to cover pilot positions what were needed there.'it's incredible...so many new things' was thinking Ranma when he felt it in his head, the unconfundible feeling of a psychic probe directed to him, what made him to stop and raise his ki without showing his aura, to block the scan attemp while at the same time he expanded his senses to pinpoint the source of the probe...
Suddenly Kosh's attemp to probe him crashed with a barrier never seen before for him.'How? he's blocking my probe with ease....nothing short of a full psychic attack could break his barrier and the feeling what emanate from him its increasing greatly and filling the area..... is almost like..!!' in that same instant Kosh cut all links with Ranma when he understood what in some way, the human was scanning the area with his strange energy to find him.
In that instant Ranma stopped of feel the probing intent."Ranma move it, the Captain is waiting us for report!!" shouted one of the other pilots to him.
"Ok, shheeshh you're more grumpy what a ghoul."
"Har har, how fun. Better let's go"
"Right."
in that instant Ranma dismissed the attemp as a bored Psi-corp and begun to run to rejoin the group.
Kosh was marveled and intrigated for Ranma's strange abilities.'No human studied before for our race ever showed those abilities. what are you, Ranma??'thought Kosh while he saw Ranma leave the Arrivals area.
