Smiling back at Ranma, Sheila pouted cutely. "Hope I'm not too late. I had trouble finding the place."
A lop-sided smirk appeared on Ranma's face. "Heh, that's funny. You were the one to choose this place to have our date, and you're the one who's late."
Blushing slightly, Sheila said, "Well, I had heard about this place. I figured it would be good as any to have a date. I just hadn't been her before either is all."
Ranma nodded his head and wrapped his arm around Sheila's shoulders, a bit of a funny sight when you consider that he had to stand slightly on the barstool to get the height to do so.
"So, Ranma... How's life been treating you lately?" Sheila asked. She knew it probably wasn't well, but she was trying to get a conversation started.
Ranma shrugged his shoulders. "Same old, same old... If I've told you once, I've told you a thousand times. Life just isn't simple for me. I still have the problem with all the fiancees and rivals, not to mention my parents are also making my life hell; Pops demanding I marry Akane, and Mom wanting me to be the next Happosai..."
Sheila nodded her head. "I still don't understand why you don't pick up and leave. You know I'd be willing to let you stay with me."
Ranma shrugged. "You know me, Sheila-chan. I want to try and make peace with everyone before I go, tie up all the loose ends..." Ranma frowned, and added, "Which is getting harder nowadays, since the fiancees are more desperate to catch me, and the rivals are doing more underhanded tasks to kill me."
Sheila frowned as she saw Ranma was becoming depressed. She hugged him, (though not too tightly as she didn't want to hurt him) and kissed his cheek. "Ranma, you really are a sweet-heart, but you have to accept the fact that the people of Nerima aren't going to change. It would be best if you just picked up and left." Sheila whispered into his ear. "And then you can stay with me, my love." Sheila then added as she licked the rim of Ranma's ear.
Ranma smiled at the love Sheila was giving him and hugged back a bit more tightly. It was amazing to him that he found a woman who actually cared. They had met by accident when Ranma went sent flying coyrtesy of Akane's mallet-sama. Ranma had literally landed at Sheila's feet.
Of course, her hybrid form did scare Ranma for quite some time, but he, more-or-less, eventually got used to it. In fact, he found her hybrid form rather down-right cute. "Sheila..." Ranma whispered. "I love you."
Sheila gave Ranma a little squeeze back. "I love you too." And she really meant it. Ranma was the first person that treated her as more than just a kid or a friend. True, they had started out as friends, but their relationship was further growing. They had yet to 'do the deed' yet, but Sheila knew Ranma was the one for her. And if Ranma wanted, she would do it with him in a heartbeat.
And so the Ranma and Sheila continued to hug for sometime, whispering sweet nothings to one another as they were at the bar.
Sonado, who was still cleaning the same mug he was ten minutes ago, rolled his eyes at the spectacle before him. Young love was always like this. Hopefully the two would order something soon. Sonada was getting tired of cleaning the same glass.
Erika, who had been watching the display of affection for some time, finally brought herself to bring the couple's attention back to the present. "Ahem, Mr. Saotome, Madame... Shall I leave you to look the menu over, or shall I take order for drinks?"
Ranma and Sheila looked over at the red-headed waitress. The reluctanly broke their hug and picked up their menues.
