"Yes," she said. "And he is right, I have so far been unable to find this platform that the letter has directed me to."
"Well, come on," the boy said. He had a rather distinctive scar on his forehead. He seemed eager to get away from his escorts as well. He did eye the snake somewhat though. "It's right through here."
"That is a wall," Kodachi said. The boy smiled, happy to be on the other side of this equation for once.
"Just watch," he was about to push his cart through the wall, when one of the escorts stopped him and headed forward first. Kodachi nearly fell off her precarious seat as the man vanished into the wall.
"He...he..." Kodachi muttered in Japanese. The boy looked at her curiously for a moment before shrugging.
"Yeah, surprising the first time," he said. "But just take a run at it okay, like this!" And ran, pushing his cart of school things and his owl straight through the wall, without breaking it.
Kodachi blinked and stood up looking at the adults, who politely gestured for her to take her turn. Returning her snake to his case and taking a deep breath before charging forward. Suddenly she found herself in another, far more quaint, but at the same time more comfortable, rail-station.
"See," the boy said. "It's easy. I'm Harry Potter by the way."
He held out his hand and she cautiously accepted it, gripping lightly. She found a slight blush working over her face as he smiled at her, but there was no way she was going to act the same way here as she had in Nerima.
"I'm pleased to meet you, Harry-sempai," she said, bowing after the handshake had ended.
"You too, Kodachi," Harry said.
"Well, get on the train," the escorts said. "The sooner you're aboard the better."
"Uh right," Harry said, and helped Kodachi onto the train. The train was filled and Harry, with the new girl, were eventually pushed to the back where Hermione and Ron waited.
"See! I told you he'd be safe," Ron said. Hermione rolled her eyes, making it obvious just who had been reassuring who until Harry showed up. "Hey, Harry, who's the new girl."
"Oh, this is Kodachi Hecate," he said, indicating her, Kodachi bowed to the wide-eyed stares of practically everybody in the car. Which was not many.
