Shaking off the dizzy feelings associated with getting pummeled with a large blunt instrument, Ranma climbed to his feet and immediately began heading back for the Tendo Dojo. Within seconds the form of his Master/sparring partner, Julia Brigand-Diggers came crashing through another portion of the wall, shock and surprise clear on her face when she flipped mid air to land on her feet.
'Oh shit!' Ranma screamed mentally as he hurried back, 'If Akane hit Julia, does that mean she would hit Brianna and Gina too? There not tough enough to just take hits like that with out serious damage.'
Jumping through the Ranma shaped hole in the wall, he accessed the situation. Brianna had been hit, just as he feared, but due to the natural quick reflexes of her being, managed to richochet off the wall instead of going through it. The action, he surmised, had knocked her for a loop. She was laying on the ground, looking dizzy with a painful grimace across her features.
Gina, on the other hand, had managed to raise a sheild via one of the many gadgets she never leaves home with out. Even now the sheild was suffering from Akane's repeated strikes and looked ready to give way before the massive Gorilla onslaught.
Fine. Hurting Julia pissed him off, she was like a second mother to him. Hurting Brianna brought a deep hued aura of blue - the color of anger - to the fore. Idly, Ranma noted, it was much stronger than he thought he could make using the emotion like he was. Almost as strong as his confidence.
Shelving that revealation away for later thought, Ranma's knuckles turned white and nearly popped at the rage he felt boil within him at the sight of Akane attempting to hurt Gina. That wasn't the worse, however.
Kasumi laid dazed near the house, at the feet of the porch were every one else was staring in abject horror at the sight before them. The clothing around her right shoulder stained deeply with blood, a tear in her clothing showing that whomever - Akane he figured - had hit her had broken her collar bone, which had punctured her skin and was now visible for all those capable of taking the time to see.
There was only so much one could take seeing before losing it. Julia could defend herself, fine, unhonorable, but fine. Brianna was made of stern stuff, but not nearly as stern as she would have to be to survive this onslaught with out taking at least some damage. Gina was a non-combatant through and through, almost like Nabiki, only not as visious or cold hearted at times, yet still able to defend herself to a degree. Kasumi was neither a combatant or capable of defending herself. The look of anguished tears in her eyes spoke enough to the pig-tailed Martial artist.
Akane would pay.
His examination passed in the blink of an eye, Ranma forcing the angry blue Ki behind him, using the inertia or forcibly pushing so much energy away, his own running speed, and a drive born from the desperation of seeing his friends hurt to shoot forward like a rocket.
He made it just in time to watch as Gina's Sheild gave way, the girl desperatly trying to get a handle on her laser pistol so as to stop the enraged.. thing that was his fiancee.
As Akane pulled back to swing again time seemed to slow for all those watching as Ranma appeared, fist firmly planted in her abdomen, the sick sound of flesh striking flesh echoing throughout the area.
Akane's eyes narrowed at first in shock, a scowl coloring her features, only to widen as she began feeling the full power behind the blow. Oddly Akane didn't realize that due to the force of the blow she had become airborn, flying back sharply to crash into one of the support beams of the Tendo Dojo.
Snarling, Ranma slammed his foot on the blunt instrument Akane had used to hurt his friends idly while jumping to give pursuit to the berzerk fiancee.
The fight had been short and too the point. Ranma's initial attack at been enough to break three ribs and rupture Akane's diaphram. She had blissfully fallen unconscious during the flight of Ranma's first attack.
Taken to the hospital, along with Kasumi, the pigtailed boy scowled as the ambulance sped away.
