Ranma took a moment to survey his surrondings. Indeed, there were numerous pools littered about the valley, most with long bamboo poles sticking out of the center.
Ranma looked at Genma, and sighed irratably, "Baka wants to do some balance trainin" he thought with a scowl on his face. He was so damn tired, he didn't think he could perform such a feat while remaining lucid.
"Come boy!" Genma shouted, shrugging off his pack and taking to the top of one of the numerous pools.
Ranma sighed. "Best keep appearances" he thought before shouting off, "Looks like a peace of cake pops." and taking to one of the poles.
Moments passed as the two warriors stared each other down. One armed with the knowledge and wisdom of age, the other with alien DNA and a cast iron will.
Genma narrowed his eyes, almost impercetively as he watched his hybrid son, examining, evaluating, and looking for any possible ways to expolit his son's weaknesses.
Ranma felt new energies rush into him as his Alien DNA kicked in. His survival instincts were screaming at him to be on guard. "Oyaji never caused this kinda reaction.." Ranma mused interenally "Something isn't right."
Yet he was left with no more time for debate. Genma, with a slight almost unnoticeable tensing of muscles, leaped to the attack.
Now, Ranma was tired. He had spent an obscene amount of time marking, and making conquests recently. He had forced himself to go with out sleep for well over 34 hours, yet due to some inherit danger that had his senses screaming, he was fully awake.
Genma frowned as he flowed into his son's defences. While his son managed, quite remarkably, to block or dodge all his attacks, it seemed like his attention was divided between two targets. Well, he'll have to teach his son the folly of that!
"KIYAHHH!"

Ranma frowned at the puddle of water he had knocked his father into. He didn't mean to end it so quickly, but with his frazzeled nerves he had slightly over reacted and simply finished it.
The water bubbled slightly at first, the surface breaking into a torrent as an indisctinct white blur rushed from the deep.
Ranma gawked, stunned at the Panda before him. So stunned, that he didn't react, he cursed himself a fool for this as he fell towards the pools.
