Ami was wrong. Her talents didn't come from her father. Ami was a mutant. Her powers were to make things explode by thinking about it. It was a very powerful mutant power.
However her father was Dr. Steven Strange, Sorcerer Supreme of the dimension Earth was in. Ami knew that most regarded her father as merely a retired surgeon and someone with a great deal of knowedge about the occult. Of course his whispered and generally not believed reputation was that he was Sorcerer Supreme.
Ami read the information the X-Men had on her father. It hold of their dealings with him and more importantly it told where he lived.
Ami packed her bags and booked a flight to New York City, a place that had more freaks, weirdos, and super powered beings than almost anywhere else on the globe.
However Ami was a bit careless with her hacking and it was noticed by the X-Men and few other interested parties.
Ami's trip was going to be one she would never forget.
