Mai and Andy were shocked, to say the least, a letter with no return address had come in the mail to the two of them. Alive, their daughter was alive, after they thought she was dead for over sixteen years.
Min Shiranui, a 14 year old, strawberry-blonde girl who definately took after her mother in everything including looks, was surprised, she had an older sister? (A.N. I took this character from Black Dragon's fic, Yagami 1/2.)
The letter read as such,
To Andy and Mai Shiranui,
I am a private investigator of sorts. I recently took a case of an orphaned child
who wanted to find out if she had any other realitives alive. When I searched, I discovered
that her biological parents were still alive. I looked up the ones that raised her
and it turned out they were members of the Sokaku clan, ancient enemies of your clan.
The ones that raised her died in a plane accident, so do not worry about them interfering in your reunion.
The address of her apartment is enclosed inside.
Signed, A friend.
Andy hugged Mai as she sobbed into his shoulder. Thinking that their eldest daughter had died hit them hard, but to find out she was alive and had no knowledge of her parents, it hit them all pretty hard.
"Mom, Dad, so are we going to take a road trip?"
Andy looked at his daughter, "Yep, go pack your things, we're heading to Juuban, Tokyo."
Mai's thoughts were chaotic, 'Our daughter is alive, will she hate me? How is she doing? Does she have a boyfriend? Is she a good fighter?'
"Oh it was no surprise that Haruka liked women, I mean the way she would look at 'Auntie' Mai's chest was a pretty big clue."
"MOM!"
"Wait, he's my father?"
"I sure hope this is covered in my accidental fire insurance policy."
