Ranma, predictably, ran.

"Neko ken?" Eilistraee shook her head. "Morons. Hey. If Bast is going to have a team of catgirl warriors of love & justice, I'm going to do a drow team."

Hestia considered. "That could be fun. A sentai housewife team. Hmmm."

"Who will Ranma marry?" Bast asked.

"Oh, just the six of us. The rest'll be his mistresses in the meantime," Eilistraee looked off in the distance. "Did that Universal Mate spell work?"

"It should," said Bast. "If he's with you, he'll be a drow. If he's with Hanali, he'll be an elf. With me - a catboy. Though with a splash of water I can be petting a catgirl."

"Well, we can only spend a certain amount of time on the Prime Material with our other duties, so we should work up avatars to be around the rest of the time," Hestia suggested. "I think Kasumi would make a decent High Priestess Of The Hearth."

"Well," began Bast,

• when in Rome do as the Romans. We'll have to fight this out for pecking order."
• in that case, I'll choose Nuku Nuku as my avatar."
• how about we set up our avatars with a transformative bite. Anyone the avatar bites becomes one of our chosen. So if my avatar bites someone, they become a catgirl. Just as a way of spreading our favored species.
