If this Magneto came looking for Ranma, he'd come straight to the Tendo dojo and she wasn't all that certain of what would happen to her family then. Magneto was a well-known terrorist of great power and ruthlessness who held total contempt for humanity.
He could very well kill all of them.
If Ranma's mother, and she'd heard of Mystique as well, the rumors of that woman's existence hit most news stations occasionally, wanted to play bait, then Nabiki would gladly help her.
