[Episode 42626] [Episode 42626]She looked out of the window. Below her she could see the crystalline structures of the palace and the surrounding city. In the distance spherical shapes left the ground and sped into the blue sky. She frowned. In the last few decades she started to think about all this. Maybe they had made a mistake. She winced a bit as memories raised their ugly head.
It all began nearly two thousand years ago. Their last enemy had somehow managed to disturb it’s orbit around the sun and it made its way to earth. The USA and ay other countrys with atomic weapons tried to vaporize the asteroid with their nukes, but it only made it worse. More than ten pieces hit earth everywhere. The result was a nuclear winter of nearly one hundred years. Mankind only survived in some large bunker complexes and when they came back to the surface they followed their new leader into the future. Some of them didn’t follow her and they were exiled to a piece of the asteroid that didn’t impact and now orbited earth.
That was the birthday of Crystal Tokyo. There wasn’t really a ‘Cleansing’ in a sense they thought about. The asteroid had been the ‘Cleansing’, since Sailor Moon had somehow helped their last enemy to throw the asteroid. For the next thousand years their utopia grew and they slowly repopulated earth and made first steps into the system. That was the time when the exiled people tried to destroy anything. They had been defeated and only a year later He came.
He had been some kind of robot in a blue cylindrical space ship. He said that he had come on the behalf of the “Higher Powers of Order” and that he wanted them to become ‘Assistants’ in the Greater Cause to bring order and piece to the rest of the universe and defeat the “Higher Powers of Chaos”. Naturally they jumped at that offer and become one of many helper for the Greater Cause. They got very advanced technology and help from other helpers in the magical department. A hundred years after He came and they become helpers, they had build the first fleet of space ships and began to fight for the “Higher Powers of Order”.
That brought her to the present. The fighting for the “Higher Powers of Order” had become the main task for Crystal Tokyo. She herself had become only a weapon of mass destruction. The Bringer of Silence for countless worlds and systems. She could take a live and wouldn’t even think anything about it. She had become a cyborg from injuries that were to serve for magic and only her cybernetical systems kept her alive.
She had began to think as she had seen something no one else from Crystal Tokyo would ever see. She had come to a result in her thoughts. There wasn’t really a difference between the “Higher Power of Order” and the “Higher Powers of Chaos”. The used exactly the same means to reach exactly the same goal. Each side would destroy a galaxy to prevent the other side to take over that galaxy. She knew it, she had seen it. She was there when the “Higher Powers of Order” had destroyed Andromeda. That was the event that caused her to think.
She had thought about it for decades. The humans had become cannon fodder in a great war, that only came to the Milky Way because of Crystal Tokyo. Because of them humans wouldn’t ever be free from the “Higher Powers of Order”, never be free to do as they liked. Never.
She could only think about one cause of action. She had to prevent all this. She had to travel back in time. To a time were she had a chance to prevent Crystal Tokyo to ever form.
Hotaru Tome, aka Sailor Saturn, aka The Bringer of Silence, closed her artificial eyes and breathed in deep. As she opened her eyes she could see herself as a mirror image in the window. She saw a stunning woman that could make Sailor Pluto give a run for her money in the beauty department. But she radiated an aura of danger and death. She was clad in her version of a Sailor Senshi uniform. She had abandoned the old version after she had lost her right arm in a battle. Her new uniform was more of a dark combat armor in the same color scheme as her old uniform and had the markings of Crystal Tokyo and her guardian planet.
She turned away from her mirror image and grabbed a small device from her desk. She flipped a switch and the device awoke to life. A holographic screen showed some glyphs and she began to work with them. She breathed in deep as she saw a face materializing in front of her.
“You won’t stop me, Pluto.”
With that said she flipped a second switch and disappeared into the time steam, shielded from the eyes of Pluto and everyone else who choose to look.
