A powerful being was watching the multiverse as it's want. This being had been around for many, many years, it was older than most civilizations. This being was big, around forty feet from head to tail. Tail? Yes, tail. This being had large wings and a draconic body, black in coloring, the being was male, and he was known by many names, but for the sake of simplicity and recongnition, he called himself Bahamut. Now Bahamut was just a guardian, not a god or a demon, however he was the king of the guardians and as such his power was much larger than the rest. It allowed him to access the space-time continuum and play with events, just as long as they weren't overly serious.
Bahamut watched as people went about their lives. Most were just normal boring people, but there were a few that stuck out. Now while those that stuck out had interesting lives for one reason or another, most were happy with their life. But one individual stuck out even amongst them, a being with an insane amount of chaos surrounding him. Looking further Bahamut smirked as best he could, 'So Chaos decided to live as a human without any of its power.' That was interesting. Most of the time no one could touch Chaos because the being was so elusive, but if he was human at the time, all bets were off.
Watching the Chaos-incarnate for a while, a month by human standards, Bahamut got an idea in his head when he saw the boy reading something that made him laugh and heard the boy mutter something about wanting to be in a place where magic was fun and wasn't just curses or anything else that was bad. Bahamut could easily do that, depositing a person from one world to another was simple. Placing them back in their homeworld was not. Oh well, the kid could fend for himself and Bahamut would eventually pull him back to his home world if things got bad. However Bahamut wasn't stupid, after watching the boy, he saw that the young person desired to be a great martial artist. So Bahamut had two types of worlds to send the kid to, one filled with powerful and skilled martial artists and one with magic, hopefully both.
Bahamut then looked across the multiverse to see if he could find a world that would fulfill the reqirements. He found several.
First was the world constructed by the Lord of Nightmares, or simply known as the Slayers world. Lots of magical fun there. Plus the chaos that surrounded the boy would atract Mazokus to him which, in turn, would make him want to learn magic to defend himself.
Next was a world that had a tournament known as the King of Fighters. Lots of insanely powerful and skilled fighters. The boy was just under their level, so a bit of training with them and he'd be a lot more skilled and powerful.
After that was a world that had powerful Street Fighters, similar to the King of Fighters world. And the boy was just under the skill and power level of the some of the fighters.
Bahamut thought of the orderly world of Sailor Moon, but discarded it, the boy would probably have Pluto wanting to kill him for the amount of chaos that he produced.
Scanning further he saw a world that existed over 500 years ago. Interesting, most people fought against demons at the time. He'd fit in perfectly, and the fact was that Bahamut would make sure that he couldn't go through the well back to his own time without a Shikon Shard.
In another world Bahamut was surprised he didn't see it sooner, a world with powerful and skilled fighters, as well as magic and magical creatures. Plus the boy would be able to get rid of his allurophobia while there. Plus he might lose his virginity to some of the more 'liberated' women who went gold digging.
Of course there were other worlds out there and Bahamut didn't dismiss them, but these were the first ones to come up. Setting his plan to motion he created a hole under the boy and watched as he muttered a curse and disappeared into another world. 'May you live in interesting times Chaos, or should I say Ranma Saotome?'
Moments previous. . .
Ranma was sitting on the roof of the Tendo house reading a manga, everyone else was gone for the day so he was just reading his favorite story when a black vortex appeared under him and sucked him into it. All he could say was, "Crap."
Ranma landed with a thump and looked around, he didn't know where he was, but he sure wasn't in Nerima anymore. 'Where am I?'
Back in Ranma's world somewhere in Mongolia Ryoga had a sudden urge to find a lawyer and sue Ranma.
Ranma didn't know it, but he had landed. . .
