Kurt frowned as Rogue rushed into the building with a look of shock and amazement. Once she spotted Kurt, she altered her course to meet up with him.
“What’s up?” Kurt asked, concerned for his adopted sibling plainly echoed across his voice.
Slightly panting, “Our.. Eh, Mystiques other son is here.” Rogue managed to get out.
Kurt’s eyes narrowed, something didn’t seem right at all. “Where is he?”
“Front door.” Rogue answered in a hurry, shuffling a book in her hand as she put one of her gloves back on.
“Oh man, you didn’t use you’re power on him, did you?” Kurt asked. That would just be perfect! He hadn’t even met the guy yet! Not even here two minutes and he’s already been drained.
Rogue shook her head fiercely, “I.. I was chasein afta Spyne, he took my journal. I.. I didn’t see him, while I was tryin to tag Spyne, Logan distracted me and I grabbed onta him by accident..”
Kurt sighed, but a small understanding smile lit his features, “Don’t worry about it none. He’ll forgive you when he recovers, I’m sure. He is family after all.”
“It.. didn’t affect him..” Rogue breathed out, slightly shocked that her power could be nullified by anyone. Least of all her on ‘brother’.
Kurt blinked. That was odd, very very odd. He didn’t think anyone could resist Rogue’s draining touch. “Oh..kay”
At that moment, the doorway opened up. Logan and a boy Kurt had never seen before dragging in Spyke, who looked dead on his feet.
