[Episode 43774] [Episode 43774]It wasn't a new experience for Ranma to dream, though dreaming in itself was somewhat rare for him since he didn't get a full nights rest all that often. Between Genma (early sparring sessions), Akane (with her bucket of water), the other fiance's (Shampoo came to mind quite often for some of the stunts she pulled) and enemies(attacking while he was either asleep or trying to heal from some intense fight) he hadn't really gotten any real sleep in a long time. This was cause he had to be on the lookout almost every moment of every day, sleep was no exception for some of his enemies would rather take him out when he couldn't defend himself. For during the training trip with Genma, Ranma had been forced to learn to sleep lightly, crudely put he was only half asleep though still conscious of his surroundings, a better definition for this half-sleep might be a deep form of meditation. Those few times he did sleep in the full sense, whether from extreme exhaustion or a traumatizing event (like what Kuno had first done to him when he was in his cursed form), he would suffer from nightmares.
Nightmares like these were for lack of a better term, horrible, forcing him to question his own identity and......orientation in some cases (like those dreams where he was a girl and naked and there was Kuno or someone else....*shudder*). Dreams like those wouldn't really phase the average person but given the curse's gender bending qualities the nightmares just brought to light one of his deeper rooted fears. Becoming a girl. Girls were nice, he had nothing against em except for those girls who just couldn't accept reality. But he was a man, born a man, raised a man. Because of that upbringing he was terrified that the curse would eventually change him not only in body but mind as well to the extent that he, Ranma Saotome had been totally replaced by Ranko Saotome.
This was not one of those nightmares. In fact it had absolutely nothing to do with his curse for which he was thankful.
He was laying on a bed, soft sheets underneath and over him. He couldn't quite open his eyes, not that he couldn't but he just didn't feel like it. And around him he could feel several bodies snuggling against his body. It didn't feel hentai, atleast there were none of those odd urges he'd gotten every now and then. He had his arms around two of the bodies and could tell that one of them had fur while the other possessed smooth skin, he could almost hear their soft even breathing. There were several more bodies on top of him but instead of concentraton on what they felt like and hearing them softly breath he instead noticed something else. All of the bodies snuggling up to him were female, on some level he had known this but only now did it penetrate his conscious mind. This was one similarity of two, the second being that he could tell they were female since they were all naked......including......him.
Strange, just that thought alone should have sent him climbing the cieling, instead he felt....calm. That was even stranger since he'd never felt this calm before, never. Of course it would be mean of him to wake the girls like this anyways, best to wait until they woke up on their own. Besides, it was kinda nice to cuddle like this, just holding them without a care in the world. Hearing a purr erupting from one of the girls he vaguely thought about cuddling with Brianna when she needed some nookie again. Not that he minded the 'nookie', it'd just been so sudden and.......pleasant in a tiring sort of way. And he did learn a more about the female body, mainly how it would react to certain touches.
And this was a dream, of that much he was sure of, so despite that tiny voice screaming for him to run like hell he pulled the girls closer.
Now if only he could have dreams like this more often.

Meanwhile Ranma's body in the real world started to change, shifting and growing as fur spread out all along his skin and claw-like extensions replaced fingernails. For a moment Ranma started to squirm as the change met a impasse of sorts but fortunately the clothes gave way with a silent rip as his body finished changing. Turning over he continued sleeping, though now one could see the scratch marks left by Brianna.
If Ranma were only partially asleep he would have felt the change coursing through his body but the exhaustion from tirung Brianna out so he oculd get away and sleeping in a friends place made him feel secure enough to really sleep.
