Almost instantly, of course, They had decided she was a threat and a danger. And since she was an accidental creation, they had assumed that destroying her would be no problem (aside from the obvious problems of getting it done).
As far as they were concerned, She wasn't a person, just a thing.
Fortunately she survived long enough to prove otherwise to some people.
