"What does this do!?" Ranma chirruped innocently as he channeled what little Ki he could control into the pretty Materia.
Nothing happened immediatly, so Genma let out a breath in relief. "Stupid boy! Don't scare you're old man like..." he trailed off when Ranma giggled and pointed to something behind him.
'Uh oh' Genma mentally groaned, but then he relaxed. There wasn't any training dummies or anything his son could out right destroy behind him. Hell, the only thing behind him was Tokyo! And you could barely see it as it was!
Turning around to face whatever it was his so was so excited about, Genma stopped and paled immediatly at the sight before him.
Now, while Ranma had access to some of the most destructive Materia he hardly had any control over it. It was power, perhaps the most powerful of all materias minus the summons. While Ranma had been aiming at a tree to use this new 'fireworks' ability on, it misfired and ended up over Tokyo.
It was the dead of night, darkness had long since claimed the land for the time being from the ravishing sun. So it was only natural to blink when the sky itself lit up as if it were naturally day time.
White globs of energy began flying and focusing on a single point above Tokyo. The ball of energy growing bit by bit as more and more energy shimmering into exsistance from god only knows where.
Genma watched the sight stupidly, having no clue the amount of destruction his son was about to commit unknowingly.
Ranma thought of all the pretty colors, no clue what was about to happen. This was fun!
A crack of thunder, a horrible shreiking sound that no one had ever dreamed could exist, and then the ball of energy collapsed on itself. A deafining explosion, streamers of energy flying out in all directions over the land destroying everything in its path with plain indifference.
Buildings gave way under its wrath. Flesh and blood of the innocent victims boiled and dissappated away as they were cacooned in the unknown power.
When all was said and done the Majority of Tokyo was no more - Nothing left but a hollowed out crater were once a proud city and its people stood. Genma had done the unthinkable, even to him. He had brought disaster to the City of Tokyo in his never ending quest to once and for all defeat the master, and perhaps marry his son off and live out his golden years on the boys sweat and tears.
A thought occurred to him as he ignore his son's hooping and hollering and cries of 'Do that again!'. It wasn't a nice thought. Did the Tendos, or even worse, his wife make it out of that conflagaration alive?
Meanwhile...
