The encased martial artist smirked, which he saw caused the watching croud to suddenly blanch and flinch in fear. *Oh yeah, Self,* he responded in the dawning of a long buried streak of prankish humor, *Host definitely likes!!!*
The NWC watched as the metallic-looking humanoid cat, which was only moments ago the formidable Ranma Saotome, furled his wings and dropped down to a more normal looking stance for what he appeared to be. The group twitched, as the felinoid began to prowl around their stunned bodies, sniffing at each of them.
The ebony figure stopped in front of the boken-weilding idiot of Nerima, stared directly into his eyes and stated in a clear, chest-throbbing basso profundo voice, "You, sir, are an idiot."
The male Kuno's response was to wet himself, whimper and faint.
The sabertoothed cat's head turned, oh so slowly, to pin down a directionally-challenged rival as he tried to bring his umbrella-weapon down to rest on the ground. The teen now in the spotlight froze, as the saphire-blue slitted eyes bored into him. As a tongue began to lick the furred muzzle, he twitched.
The spell was momentarily broken, as a madly grinning Kasumi wrapped a glomp around the massive neck of the transformed Ranma. "KITTYCAT!" she squealed, rubbing a cheek into the ruff of the cat's neck.
]Self enquires:,[ the symbiot asked in the back of Ranma's mind, ]did Host know subject Kasumi likes cats?[
Equally suprised, the furry martial artist could only think, *Not a clue, Self, not a clue...*
