"AAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!! Many residents of Nerima that saw Ranma run by just shrugged their shoulders. This was more or less 'normal occurence' by their standards.
After a few more minutes of running, Ranma came to a screeching halt as soon as he saw he was about to run into his mother. His mother, who was walking over to the Tendo Dojo to check up on her family, was rather shocked to see her son was so upset. She took hold of his shoulders. "Ranma dear! What's wrong?"
"I'M A CAT, I'M A CAT, I'M A CAT, I'M A CAT, I'M A CAT-"
*SLAP*
Ranma blinked a few times. His mom slapped him. However it DID stop his fearful rant. "Thanks mom."
"Don't mention it dear." Looking stern, Nodoka asked, "Now my manly son, what is so wrong that you are running around like a chicken with it's head cut off?"
Ranma looked tense again. "Mom,. I just had the ghost of Kimikot Tendo go up to me. She was tense, she looked sad, she was a WERERAT, and she told me that I'm a WERECHEETAH!!!" Ranma then noticed his mother's face pale. "Mom?"
"... I think it's time we had a little talk my son..."

It was hours later, and both Ranma and Nodoka were at the Saotome Compound. Ranma was sitting down at the dining room table, across from his mother. He thought over the things his mother told him. He then looked up at her again.
"Let me get this straight," Ranma began. "You are a werecheetah, and at a time, were one of the greatest warriors of the Werecheetah Clan?"
"That is correct. I was only second to our clan's greatest female warrior, Cyan. She was the one who defeated the 'infamous' werewolf warrior, Ishtar, who was daughter of the Brendan, Alpha of the Werewolf Clan." Nodoka confirmed. She then added, "I myself was a rical with Ishtar's younger sister, Jetta. Boy, could that 'bitch' really fight." Lowering her Kimono's sleeve slightly , she showed off ehr right shoulder, showing five parallel scars. "And I have the 'decorations of battle' to prove it."
Shrugging his head to get such thoughts out of his head, Ranma then continued. "And also, you mean to tell me that you were, to your knowledge, the only survivor of teh Werecheetah Clan?"
"Yes. It was twenty or so years ago. The werecheetahs had fallen on hard times, and the the werwolf Alpha, Brendan, had offered to make peace with us. I thought to try to clear my own thoughts, and did not go with my family directly to Scotland. I went to Japan first, to try to broaden my skills in fighting... And it was here that I learned of the werewolves' treachery. They had restarted the war and slaughtered everyone." Nodoka said.
Ranma grimaced. "Damn..." He then blinked. "Okay, but why was it you came to Japan to think? I mean, what was so important?"
Sighing, Nodoka looked up at Ranma and said, "Before I answer that, let me ask this. And how would you feel if the woman you loved that loved you back in return, had to then be with another woman?"
Ranma blinked. he shivered as a sudden mental image of Akane leaving him for Ryoga went through his head. He then said, "Well, I guess I would be upset. Really upset."
Sighing, Nodoka said, "That is what happened to me. My fiancee, Xerxes, who happened to be the head of the Werecheetah Clan, for lack of better wording, had 'dumped' me after we had been fiancees for a year. Apparently, he was truly in love with Cyan, who I told you about earlier. Xerxes eventually slept with Cyan, and a child was concieved." Sighing, Nodoka said, "I came to Japan, to spend time trying to get over Xerxes. When I had learned of him and my family's death, it broke my heart."
Nodding his head, Ranma then asked, "And then you got drunk, and Dad knocked you up with me? And since you are a werecheetah, and I am your son, that makes me a werecheetah too."
Sighing at her son's lack of tact, she nodded her head. "In a nutshell, yes."
Thinking about it for a moment, Ranma then asked, "What should I do now?"
*blink* "Oh, I remember this. This was a contract I made with Genma Saotome to engage his son to one of my girls. I can't believe all he wanted was a turkey on rye sandwich and a Coca Cola..."
