And neither one gave up on a challenge, no matter what it was.
Which was why Ryouga was still looking for a gift when Ranma had already had the time to not only buy a gift, but get it another one like it for free, as well as get education enhancements. Due to his lack of a sense of direction, Ryouga had discovered that yes, the shops continued to move on him. Yet, he was set on finally beating Ranma.
So he continued his search for the perfect gift, going from a tourist shop in Naha, to a conveince store in Sapporo. But nothing he had found had seemed to be something that he could buy to make Ranma's gift look more cheesy and tacky than he thought it would be.
However, he was not about to fail and miss the opportunity when Ranma would give his rusty silverwear or whatever and be blown out of the water with what Ryouga Hibiki gave Kasumi!
That meant that he would keep on continuing his search. And where he was seemed to be good enough.
Never mind that it was a back alley. Or that to even get there, he had to take a strange route that only those who knew about these types of places or just had the 'luck' to find it would come across. And that the shops did not seem to be at all of the sort that would have their products be in the 'normal' range.
He ignored all that, and walked along the cobblestone pavement looking for a store that seemed to be a good place to buy his gift for the eldest Tendo daughter. Gazing into the windows, he examined each and every item in them as he walked, unintentionally, in circles until he found it. Displayed in the front was an examle of something that he thought that Ranma could not beat.
Having made his decision, he through the entrance beneath the strange sign that he didn't understand completely, and into:
