In growing fear, she tried to draw attention to her her plight.
"Woof! Woof!!" {Hey! What's going on here?! Let me go!!}
When her father came, newspaper in hand, she was filled with relief.
Only to find to her horror that instead of freeing her, he merely rolled up his paper to hit her several times on the nose...and it REALLY HURT!
"Bark! yIpE!" {Dad! It's me! Akane!! Your daughter!!}
"Be quiet, you mutt! Even if you do belong to my friend Genma, I won't tolerate you disturbing the rest of the house!! Stupid animal!!"
Inside the house, Kasumi and her fiance Ranma looked at each other as they heard the whine of Pochi, the Saotome emergency food source-er-pet, that Genma had formerly used for pit fighting. Scarred and skanky, the old mutt had proven to be a terror inside the house. Peeing on the furniture, breaking things, dirtying the rug, and chewing on Ranma's legs...or the legs of anyone else too slow to get out of her way for that matter. Even Kasumi, who's tolerance for all living things was legendary, had finally gotten fed up with the old bitch and exiled it to the backyard.
"Ranma, we really need to do something about that...creature."
The cursed martial artist nodded somberly in agreement.
"Don't worry, I've got it covered. Tomorrow we'll..."
