Spider Moon: Juuban's new resident. [Episode 45306]

by Demonhawk01

A man walked through Juuban park grumbling. "I knew I shouldn't have taken those Japanese classes in college."

Running a hand through his hair he looked up. "Well at least the skyscrapers remind me of New York. I should have never entered the office. The way Jameson was acting so nice should have set off my spider senses!" Peter Parker grumbled again. It had only been a week ago; The Daily Bugle had acquired a Japanese paper. Of course J. Jonah Jameson wanted to inspect the premise personally, and bring some of his best reporters, just to make sure that they knew how the Bugle did business. Of course when he spied that little line in Parker's resume about being fluent in Japanese, he shanghaied one of his best photographers (even if the majority of his pictures were of that miserable villainous Spiderman!) into coming to.

Thus Peter found himself stuck with a 3 month stay in the Juuban district, helping Jonah 'teach these Japanese reporters how to run a REAL newspaper!'.

"Still it's not so bad." Peter commented to himself. Indeed it wasn't. The Japanese photographers were very pleasant to chat and exchange photographing techniques with. Peter had a very light workload. "And best of all, the crime rate here is so low, I don't have to worry about being put into a life or death situation!"

A female shriek pierced the air nearby, followed by a beam of light shooting into the air. Peter winced. "I knew I shouldn't have said that..."

For a moment he considered turning around and heading back to the apartment he was renting. Then he sighed, his conscience and morals wouldn't let him. He quickly ducked into a secluded alcove of the park, lifting his shirt to reveal a red, blue, and black uniform beneath. As he pulled his mask, Peter couldn't help but smirk. "I wonder how many gaskets Jameson is going to blow when he finds out his friendly Neighborhood spider followed him across the seas?"

A few minutes later, a figure leapt into a tree as and stared at the sight before him. The amazing Spiderman paused and then muttered under his breath. "You’ve got to be kidding me..."

Below him in a clearing stood a bunch of girls in cheerleader's outfits fighting a pair of the most ridiculous looking monsters he'd ever seen.

AS he watched one of the monsters took a swipe and knocked down one of the cheerleaders. The monsters companion leaped forward to take advantage of the fallen defender. It's maw opening wide to rip the life out of her. "Hmm I think that’s my cue."

-------------

"MERCURY!!!" Sailor moon cried, as she saw her friend fall. She tried to rush forward to help, but the daimon moved to intercept her and the other scouts and prevent them from rescuing their friend.

Mercury blearily looked up and screamed. Her eyes widened at the daimon bearing down on her. She tried to move but her body wouldn't cooperate. The slavering jaw got closer and then....

THWIP!

"Hey buddy. Didn’t anyone tell you it’s rude to play with your food?"

Hesitantly Mercury cracked her eyes open, then opened them wider. The daimon was still there, only... it was now pawing at its mouth, trying to get off some sort of white webby material that had closed it shut. It didn't have much of a chance however, as a moment later a pair of feet came flying over her head to knock the Damon into a nearby tree. Looking up Mercury blinked at the red and blue spandex covered man, absently noting the spider motif of the costume.

"Who?" she asked weakly still recovering from the earlier blow.

"Hey relax. No need to fear! Your friendly neighborhood Spiderman is here to save the day! Whoops!" Spiderman hopped up to avoid an attack from the recovering Daimon. "I guess I should help deal with Tweddle dee and Tweedle dum first."
