Tsunami smiled serenely. "In Xanth they'll be cut off from their planets, barely able to transform into senshi mode really. It’s only fair that they be paired with someone who can help keep them safe."
Washu nodded. "You'll notice I drafted a pair of protectors for those tamers to... creatures made out of digital data. How fascinating."
Tokimi scowled, but acknowledged the point. The three sisters turned to the viewing screen, as X(A/N)TH left to spend time with his beloved Chlorine.

Elsewhere in Xanth
"WHY MEEEEEEEEE?" Wailed Ranma as he fell. Happosai had been chanting some sort of spell that evening. Ranma decided to be proactive and stop him before he could cause mischief. Only something went wrong, even if he knocked the spell asunder, he was suddenly surrounded by an orange glow. Now he found himself falling towards an unknown land. "Stupid old freak!"
Ranma's ranting was cut short as he heard a scream of terror nearby. Looking to his left Ranma saw a clearly terrified teenage girl with purple eyes falling as well. Ranma's eyes narrowed; fortunately he was a master of mid air combat. He shifted his body slightly and let off miniscule burst of ki. Eventually managing to angle himself just below the falling girl. Grasping her in his arm's he held her close. A second later he landed, grunting in pain as his feet take the brunt of the fall. "Ya okay?"
Hotaru blinked. One minute she was getting ready to leave for school. The next she had been engulfed in some strange light. She had managed to see Haruka-papa, Michuru-Mama, and Setsuna-Mama look on in horror before she vanished. Then she was falling. She remembered screaming, and then two strong arm's wrapping around her.
Hotaru looked up and blinked as she gazed into two of the bluest eyes she had ever seen. Such a handsome face, her own hero. She blushed and murmured. "Are you my Sempai?"
Ranma blinked as he lowered the girl to the ground. Was she alright? She was looking at him funny. "Uh I guess if you like. I'm Ranma. Ranma Saotome of the Saotome School of anything goes martial arts."
Hotaru stood there listening to his voice, lost in his handsome face. Then she realized she should introduce herself as well. "Umm..I'm Hotaru Tomoe... where are we?"
Ranma shrugged. "Don't know... one minute I'm dealing with the old freak, the next I'm here... by this chasm..." Ranma gestured to the big chasm next to them, Hotaru looked around in wonder. Ranma looked around again for a recognizable landmark. Well wherever they were, it looked like it might be a long hike back to civilization. Ranma frowned; he could survive by himself easily enough. Hotaru on the other hand looked like a typical teenage school girl; he'd have to get her back to civilization rather quick. Oh well easy enough task, he supposed.
Had Ranma known anything about Xanth he might have been more worried. For that matter if he knew what Hotaru was thinking at the moment (something along the lines of I'm all alone with this hunk. No Mina-chan or Mako-chan to steal him away. He's all MINE! BWAHAHAHAHAHAHHAA!!), he'd likely be heading for the hills.

Rika screeched as she fell through the air. She was just talking with the gogglehead a moment ago. He had been stuttering so much, she was sure he was going to ask her out on a date. Then they both got engulfed in a stream of light and were falling. Glancing to her left she saw Takato a few feet away, flailing like he was trying to swim. Glancing down she saw the fast approaching ground, this was going to hurt. She screamed again.
"I've got you Rika!" A feminine voice shouted out. A second later a yellow blur shot up and grabbed her in furry arms, before safely tumbling to the ground.
"R-R-Renamon?" Rika asked in disbelief, it had been 3-4 years since she had seen her Digimon partner. The portal Takato found being unsuitable to travel through, although not to send e-mails through. "How did you get here? Are we in the digital world?"
Renamon blinked and looked around. Then she turned back to her tamer, it was so good to see her again. E-mail communication just wasn't the same. "I do not know Rika. One minute I was traveling through a Data stream, the next I was surrounded by a yellow light and found myself in the forest. Where I saw you falling. I do not think we are in the digital world though, I appear to be slightly hungry."
Rika nodded, thinking back to her own experience with the yellow light. Thinking of that reminded her. "Oh my! Takato! He was with me. We have to find him!"
A few minutes searching of the area, didn't produce Takato. It did however produce Guilemon. "Hi Rikamon and Renamon. You wouldn't happen to have bread would you?"
Rika blinked. "Why am I not surprised? Guilemon have you seen Takato anywhere?"
Guilemon paused and considered." No... Guilemon was playing with Calumon, then I got hit by a yellow light. Then Guilemon was falling. But fortunately the ground was real soft and squishy!"
Rika and Renamon blinked, looking down at the gravel around them. "Soft and squishy?"
A low groan was heard, Guilemon looked down. "Oh! Hi Takatomon! What are you doing there? Playing hide and seek?"
Rika and Renamon could only sweat drop, as Takato crawled out of the small crater. "Now I know what the dough feels like when we make flat bread. Where are we?"
"Maybe those horsemen will tell us?" Guilemon asked innocently, pointing with a claw behind Rika and Renamon. Slowly the two turned around. Surely enough a group of Centaurs were approaching. Takato's eyes widened as he noted the female's had no top on.
Rika frowned and whapped him up side the head. "Quit staring Gogglehead!"

Ami gaped. "Thats....that's not possible! No such flora exists! Its defies all natural laws!"
"Really dear, you shouldn't get so excited. " Nodoka smiled at the child. Such an excitable girl. "Now be a dear and help me harvest some of these pies for lunch. Afterwards we can go looking for my son."
Ami just stared at the lady. How could she just accept this strange place? Everything was wrong, it didn't make any sense! Grudgingly she helped Nodoka with the pies. Maybe after a good meal she could figure out what’s going on, and why she couldn't transform or raise the other scouts on the communicator.
Nodoka just hummed while she pondered if she should encourage Ranma to be manly with this nice girl she stumbled across in this strange land....
"Quit staring gogglehead!"
"Hey Renamon I think Rikamon is jealous"
