Kaneda could best be described as a martial arts enthusiast and a punk with a heart. Since middle school he had an unbeaten fighting record, and wasn’t afraid to brag about it. Always one to help those in trouble, it was mostly thanks to him that his school was kept free of the bullies and gangs that often caused trouble in Japanese schools. Unfortunately this tended to attract a lot of bad attention, and few people wanted to associate with him, not wanting to get involved.
In other words, he your standard male shonen protagonist that’s been seen about a million times before. He could have ended up a weenie boy with a harem, but those characters tend to piss me off. Anyway, right now Kaneda is…
