Nabiki swallowed nervously as she saw the trees. The bench. The statues. Even a mushroom.
All looking at her. All female humanoid shapes. She could read lips and many were silently pleading with her to end their pain or flee before she joined them.
Come to think of it, that sounded like a good idea.
Turning to flee, Nabiki noticed the blonde woman smirking at her in her path. "Uhm. Hello. I just made a wrong turn. I think I'll be going now."
"I think you'll be staying," said the Sorceress. "Why look at you. You look good enough to eat."
Nabiki did her best to look calm and in control. "We can make a deal."
"What an interesting concept," said the Sorceress, snapping her fingers.
"Yes, isn't it?" Nabiki felt the sudden chill working its way up from her legs and looked down. Her feet gleamed back in shades of silver. "What? No. Honestly. You'll regret this. I have so many skills I can bring to your organization!"
The Sorceress watched the slow march of silver past the girl's waist. "Oh?"
Nabiki felt the cool unyielding metal of her abdomen as the color inched its way up her body. "I have many martial artists under my control. I can make it worth your while!"
"Hmmm?" The Sorceress snapped her fingers again, removing the clothing from the girl as the change swept down her arms. "That's nice but I seem to have other plans for the evening."
Nabiki screamed in fear as her face stiffened. Now a naked statue of gleaming silver she stood perfectly still.
"I needed a second torch holder, you see," the Sorceress explained to the statue. "Now I have one of silver and one of bronze to stand next to each other. Besides - it sounds like my double headed naga has found some intruder."
