She recalled how it came to this pass, Rogue basically wanting to gut her after that fiasco at.. she didn't even want to think about it. After trashing her into abour three shades deeper, she finally mentioned why, summing it up as letting herself lose track of what a teenager IS then pretending to be one!
"I swear, Never Ever will I understand that girl. Least she understands me. That's something I suppose...."
Nope, none of the 'treacheries' mattered a lick, just the pretense. Lokking back, she could get that, just not the degree. That's probably why she's been told straight-out that Rogue's going to break a limb every day unless she 'gets her groove back'.
"No way is she ever gonna anticipate THIS one, nuh-UH! I'm almost giggling over it!"
Okay, the last bag's packed, the accounts are transferring now, and best of all, no-one's got a clue. Just as well she finally recalled that moronic deal for a free month of dining at a sushi bar. The man's KID? Still, by all those nice covert reports, he's quite the catch.
"Now to sneak out, and leave these morons to twist in the wind!"
As she snuck out the door at 4:30 AM (thank goodness her circadian clock's easily resettable), Mystique smiled at this, her strangest route to reconciliation yet.
"Can't be a teen if I tried? Roguey, Roguey.. I can be anyone, even a good arranged teen bride! Ha-hahheh..."
And on that note, Mystique stole a car and persona, beghinning her trip to Nerima.
