"What he would have done next?! This! This is what he did next!! Why do you keep acting as if he were some kind of homicial maniac? He wanted to help people. But he went too far and he knew it and he couldn't stand it. He wasn't a bad man. He was a good man whod did a bad thing. And if you can't tell the difference between the two then what the hell are you doing here?"
Kyle whispered, "I know I was right about Mark Antaeus, but how do you disagree with them? Maybe I don't belong in the JLA."
Kyle stood up and headed for the transporter. Before he left, he took a look around the place.
"They don't need me. The world doesn't need me. I'll go someplace else."
Kyle used his ring to write on a piece of paper and place it on the table. On it were these words:
'You were right, Superman. I don't belong here. Goodbye. Green Lantern.'
Kyle entered the transporter booth and went back to New York. He flew into his apartment and got his Power Battery. He used his ring to pack up his belongings. With a bit of concentration, he got the battery to fold back up into its flat rock appearance. He put that in his backpack. Gathering up all his luggage, Kyle set off for Warrior's
"I wonder what Guy, Jon, and Alan are going to say?"
----------------------------------------------
"You did what?" Guy demanded. "Why?"
Kyle calmly said, "I quit the JLA. They don't need me. And after what happened earlier, I don't know if I can work with them."
"What happened, Kyle?" Alan asked.

"Where to?" Jon asked. "The remains of Oa? Rann?"
Kyle replied, "Captain Comet and L.E.G.I.O.N. are handling the interstellar side of things. Let's just say that it would take someone of simmilar abilites to find me. I might be running away from the problem, but..... At any rate, I just came to say good-bye."
"It's been nice working with you, Kyle," Alan said, shaking his hand.
Guy snorted, "Guess I should put a statue of you. At any rate, take care."
Jon shook his head, "I don't know what problem you had with the JLA was, but if you feel this is the best way, I'm not going to stop you."
"Thanks," Kyle said.
Kyle used his ring to bring his clothes and art supplies with him and headed for a mountaintop. He took a deep breath and pulled out the lantern.
"Are you sure you want to do that?"
Kyle turned and looked down at the small ble man in a red dress that had shown up.
"Am I sure? No. But, I'm going to anyway. Are you here to stop me, Ganthet?"
Ganthet shook his head. "No. I'm here to follow you."
"One dimension jump comming up. I have no idea where we are going."
Kyle touched the ring to the lantern and focused all his will. In a flash of green light Ganthet, Kyle and Kyle's possessions disappeared. The Earth lost a hero to another world. That world is....
