"And how is THAT, princess?" Ukyou asked irritably.
"Rude, self-centered, vulgar, violent," Ayeka repeated.
"You're the one that blew out the wall," Ukyou reminded her.
"After you FLEW through it!" Ayeka snapped angrily.
"So," Ukyou said. "Because of one broken window you think it's okay to blew up the wall?"
"Oh just shut up and hand me that hammer," Ayeka said.
Ukyou smirked and TKed the hammer over to the faerie. At the moment she was acting as the roof's support while she and Ayeka repaired the wall.
Ayeka muttered angry deprecations against the reborn child of the goddess Washu as she set about her task. She didn't notice the whimsical nostalgic look on the apparently younger girl's face as she continued muttering.
After all, this reminded Ukyou very much of her friendship with Ranma. As for the the Ryoko bits of her, they were just learning what it was like to have friends.
All in all, Ukyou was growing very content with her life at the shrine. Between Tenchi (sigh) and Ayeka (snicker) it was quite a pleasant time.
"Oneechan, Ukyou-oneechan!" Sasami called out from further in the building. "Are you almost done? The food's ready!"
"We'll be right there kiddo," Ukyou called back.
