Casting a glance to his right, he found Aoi-chan staring at him and blushing. She was flushed from hairline to collar. The beads of sweat on her face displayed her astonishing attempts at self-control. She hadn't looked this panicky ever, not even when they were naked together at that hot spring.

Kaoru slowly faced forward again. And they'd brought Mayu with them today, too. Well, maybe his admittedly disgusting luck had changed. Maybe Mayu hadn't gotten hit by the dust.

Discretion is the better part of valor. Sometimes the situation just calls for action. These thoughts in mind, Kaoru seized hold of his iinazuke, slung her over his shoulder like a sack of rice, and took off down the street at top speed. He'd rather be in a judo match with Miyabi Kagurazaki again than face THAT! Yes, the judo match would be much safer.
A few residents of Nerima wondered at the odd behavior of the young man who was neither Ranma nor that nice Keitaro boy.
