But why oh why did he have to put up with Duo and his stupid songs.
"Will you shut up MAXWELL!!! I tell you its bad enough they tell me to decommission my dear Nataku, I don't need to hear you sing stupid travel songs over and over! It's injustice!" Screeched Wufei. Heero smiled, oh good perhaps Duo will be killed and he won't get blamed for it.
"Ah lighten up Wufei... I'm just bored. It’s not my fault Hilde decided to stay in the cockpit with Sally. Or that this old cargo ship only has a two person cockpit at that. Why don't you take Trowa and Quatre's example?" Duo smiled cheerfully at Wufei as he pointed to the dozing pilots. Wufei just scowled.
"Well you five seem to be having fun." Hilda called back from the co-pilot seat. "Think you should know we're passing that colony being created LDX... should be about 20 minutes from here."

Meanwhile in a secret room of colony DXL a old looking man in a fancy uniform and a feather on his cap. Behind him several technicians in Boy Scout like uniforms scurried. "Perfect they are in range. A pity about Wufei, he would have made a nice recruit to Maria Maya's army. Still if this dimensional cannon works as advertised, I won't need her at all. I can rule the world directly."
The true leader of the White Fang and architect of the original operation meteor plan Dekim smirked. "Best of all, I'll get rid of those traitorous Gundam pilots in one fell swoop. How dare they defy me like that and steal the Gundams instead of waiting for Operation Meteor! Fire when ready!"
A low hum filled the station as it powered up for its true purpose, as a weapon of destruction. Dekim laughed evilly, his moment of triumph at hand! Well at least until the red warning lights began to flash and sirens blared.
"What’s going on?" He demanded.
"The reflux drive has overloaded!!" Exclaimed one of the technicians. "The reactor stabilizer is off line...I...I...Can't stop it! IT’S GOING TO BLOW!!!!!"
'No! I was so close, how could I be denied my destiny?' was all Dekim had time to think, before his world went white and then Dekim knew no more.

The pilots blinked as suddenly the blackness of space was removed by white light. Sally Po screamed back. "LDX just blew up!!! Hang on! Here comes the shockwave!"
The craft shook as it was hit with a wave of white light. Since they weren't at he center of the explosion, they weren't killed. However the shockwave also carried a large portion of dimensional energy, the ship carrying the Gundams and their pilots shuddered and then seemed to fade away from the universe.

Heero groaned as he opened his eyes.
"Oh good you're awake Heero." Duo commented to his fellow pilot and then looked around. "I don’t think we're in Kansas anymore..."
As he said that Heero Heard Hilde speak...
okay G-wing boys on rifts earth... of more interest why are items floating around an agitated Quatre? (Rifts)
